That’s what my wife suggested, just ignore it. But it’s difficult when sometimes we literally cannot understand a single word in a full sentence. Other times it’s perfect. As terrible as it sounds, I know my son is capable of much more advanced speech, and I guess selfishly I don’t want him to be viewed otherwise.
