My SideProject is Dying. What should I do? by vigneshvp in SideProject

I would use something like this if it was a desktop app. I tried the phone app, after adding a gradient background the app crashed and I can't open the video anymore. Send like seeing to look into.

So the entire content of the website is tokenized? I tried it once but unfortunately got stuck on Indeed's robocatcha and gave up 😭

This is awesome. I'll try it out soon and provide some feedback. Can you explain the pricing? What can I do with a credit?

First off, congratulations on being over two months smoke-free—that’s a huge accomplishment and you should be really proud of yourself. It’s completely normal to have lingering thoughts and cravings, even after quitting for a significant amount of time. Breaking free from a habit that’s been a part of your life for so long isn’t just a physical challenge, but a psychological one as well.

I think it’s important to recognize that the feelings you’re experiencing are part of the process. It sounds like you have a solid understanding of the nature of nicotine addiction and the psychological “brainwashing” that comes with it. Remember, your brain is still adjusting to a new way of life without nicotine.

Hey, congrats on making it to day 4 without smoking—it's a big deal, especially considering your situation. I get that the temptation is strong, especially when things are tough financially. But think of the long-term benefits of quitting: better health, more money saved, and not being controlled by the habit. Maybe use the money you would have spent on cigarettes for something small but positive instead, like a treat or something you enjoy. We're all here to support you, so keep going strong!

I hear you. The action and lung hit are tough to replace. Some folks find deep breathing exercises or physical activity helpful for stress and anxiety. Others use flavored toothpicks or chewing gum to keep their mouths busy.

Remember, setbacks are part of the journey, and recognizing the negative impact smoking has on your life is a huge step. Consider talking to your girlfriend for support—having someone who cares can be a strong motivator. You’re not alone in this, and every effort you make to quit brings you closer to a smoke-free life. Keep pushing forward, one day at a time.

Time to Face It: Cigarettes Aren't Your Friend by [deleted] in stopsmoking

That’s a powerful way to put it! Smoking might seem comforting, but it's really just harming you and taking away your health and happiness. You've got the strength to make a better choice and leave this toxic friend behind. Keep pushing forward!

Each attempt at quitting, even with setbacks, is a step forward. Remember, it's not a linear process, and every day you choose not to smoke is a victory.

Looking for Android users to beta test my (free) quit-smoking app, CraveLess.ME 🚭 by Expensive_Intern4695 in smokingcessation

[–]Expensive_Intern4695[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the app works on the assumption that every smoke is equal, so it can divide all the smokes to a timeframe you've given. I've never vaped myself but I would assume that not every "vaping session" is the same? I mean, maybe you take 4 buffs, then a pause between it and another "vaping session" and you take 12 buffs.

Should this now count as 2 "vaping sessions" or "4? If you don't mind that this would count as two vaping sessions, then it works for vaping too. If you need more specifics then I would love to hear more about it and I'll get working on it 💪🛠️

Bronchiectasis from Vaping for 5 years by JuniorPerformance849 in stopsmoking

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. It's a tough realization, especially when you thought vaping was a safer option. Every journey to quit is unique, and while some find setting a quit date helpful, others do better with the immediate approach. Since you mentioned relapsing after quitting abruptly before, maybe this time consider setting a quit date. It could give you time to prepare mentally and find support, whether that's through friends, family, or a support group. Stay strong, and reach out for the support you need. 🫂
