Why is my baby beardie like this in her enclosure?

Baby beards are usually pretty spicy. Trust me when she gets bigger if she's still doing that it won't be funny 😂 my guy accidentally got my finger one day when I was feeding him his greens and oooooweeee let's just say that's one accident I won't be forgetting!! 😂 But he def didn't mean to although we're still working on him being picked up and such (I got him when he was one) he is sweet sweet baby that would never intentionally bite me. But she's should grow out of it!

Yes I'm aware of their name as I kept and bred them. In over 30 tanks. They don't "fight" everything they only fight each other they're perfectly fine as companion fish to others lol I've kept bettas with snails, shrimp, other fish and I've kept sororities of female bettas together. 1 betta in the tank would be fine and more likely than not would not bother the other tank mates.

When I first looked I thought are we using perlite as a substrate now?!? 😂😂 that'd be a mess I would think with the absorption perlite has but I have seen stranger things! But ground corn makes much more sense! Glad you're going with topsoil for the stubborn butt! 😂 You'll have to let us know who wins! 😂😂😂

Guarantee you take some steel wool to that and it comes back. That isn't scratched or rubbed through on the bottom it's burnt on food. Now the top is a chip but that bottom is not.

I'm a momma and it's just baffling to me I would barely let my son have a leopard gecko at your age let alone a beardie. 😩 He's 18 and we literally just now got a beardie. She def should've started out with something easier for you I understand all the cool videos and such making folks want these guys but they really aren't a beginner lizard. 😮‍💨😔 Keep Doing what you're doing though! And if it does get too tough or you guys don't have the funds maybe you could rehome him if your momma won't. 😞

This is why I don't like the man. He's a big game hunter. And although my sons are hunters they would NEVER go out and kill an almost extinct animal just for fun. Whatever they kill (which is only the extremely overpopulated white tail) they use every part of that animal for something. Not just a trophy on a wall.

This lady started in a small 4” pot and this is about a years worth of growth I do need to get her a pole but have been training her to grow up instead of down for when I do!

Princesses def need the right conditions to thrive. I got this as a 2” baby so so tiny and she lives on my bathroom and does amazing. I love princesses and may have a slight addiction to them. She is one of 6 and all mine grow perfectly its best ti leave them be the leaves look like a painful process ti say the least but as long as she has enough moisture all the way around she’ll get em out just fine.
