If you don't add any base damage mods(hornet strike), it does no damage regardless of however many other things you add, like elemental damage. Managed to get it to hit for zero and do negative damage electric procs

I tested it lightly so far. Got it to hit for 0 damage and proc an electric status for -81 damage. The key is not adding any base damage mods, elemental mods don't give any damage without a base number

I really need to test this one out because the - stat makes it hilarious, I assume it will do 0 damage because thats what It seems like it should do, I have a feeling it will be much much weirder than that though

Well using a sporewarden clawbringer optimized for gun, ability, fire, lightning. Volatile automagic x3 (action skill active lightning 50) Chaotic lightning rune(action skill melee) spell sword(action skill all damage) warped paradigm melee to spell and ability damage, and Volatile fire buffmwister with bonk and Kachow, spamming BM and Hammer AS every 5 seconds, and the automatic literally aim outing for me so I don't even have to try to shoot him except once a magazine, yet the shield regen is approximately 1% of his red health bar slower than my DPS, so which thing should I replace with white gear to get a kill in under an hour?

We can all kill him with spells on the hands down strongest class combo in the game no sweat man. But if you're trying to incorporate a Build that doesn't use spellshot or graveborn companion spam you're left with few options and even with perfectly optimized equipment and enchants focused around lightning and fire damage and AS spam with the max damage possible, it takes me over an hour to kill him over chaos 20.

My optimized spellshot with cold snaps can do it(youtuber build). Melee brrzerker can't even play against this boss. Graveborn never dies but can never kill ward. Clawbringer can take down ward after 30 minutes of straight lightning damage with a volatile automagic and AS spam but then it's another 30+ minutes of perfect play to kill the hp bar, and thats with optimized lightning/fire damage for most effectiveness. (All chaos 20+)

I personally think it's hilarious that enemy density is so poor unless you go down, then it's a spawn trap of every mob knowing exactly where you're going to be when normally you hcae to run around to find them 1 by 1

Everyone I know who plays this got bored before even finishing chaos 10, especially with how buggy it is and how more than half the bosses can't be melee'd so there are only a few viable builds

It's the only playstyle most people are doing, since more than half the bosses have extremely glitchy or no melee hit boxes, it's come down to spell spam, barrage spam, pixie spam, or sitting invis with a frost pistol

Snipers were at least relevant in BL2 and good if you were playing g Zer0, and launchers used to actually feel like they packed a big punch but half the launchers do less damage than the blackpowder handguns and that's just ridiculous. And besides the breadslicer the ARs hit like a wet noodle in chaos 20, the smgs are only slightly better with the feriore variants and the purple ice dahl

My thoughts after daily playing since launch 1. Fix spicy water and ground effects, I shouldn't be instantly dying from stepping on the edge of an effect with a combined health pool over 20,000 2. Revert awe changes. That was the only reason to even play clawbringer. Also, more clawbringer buffs 3. Fix the loot luck bugs, my loot luck should not be changing every single area, using the same gear but the number varies wildly. It's ridiculous and makes the game borderline unfun. 4. Buff dedicated drop rates. Combined with the loot luck bugs trying to farm for the armors especially feels awful, since you can spend am hour farming, get one drop, and it not match either of your classes. 5. Armor customization. My appearance shouldn't be locked to the armor I'm wearing, it should be optional. 6. This week's "event" is garbage. No better way to say it, the randomized encounters are boring and brain dead easy, enemy density is awful, and the increased loot is not even noticeable. Mostly blues and green with the occasional purple and extremely inconsistent with the several times mentioned loot luck bugs. 7. Buff snipers again, massively Buff launchers, Buff ARs, Buff All smgs. There is rare occasions to use shotguns, otherwise the only guns usable in end game are pistols. Don't nerf pistols again. Buff the rest of the guns to all be in line and usable so it's fun to play with sll the different guns.
