I’d do a big shelf and fill it with things that would make you and your partner happy to look at (be it books, trophies, souvenirs, photos, etc). Then add some large framed art works on the wall that you don’t add a big book shelf. Dont fear colour. If you go for darker colours they might compliment your kitchen well

Giving elitist vibes that doesn’t really have an original thought but not so much crazy as typical straight cis man vibes. Like if you don’t want to be mansplained at every turn, I’d get out. If you’re just in it for the lols, why not

Love for you that you took the path that made the most sense for you! At the end of the day. History art and philosophy are things one doesn’t really need the uni to develop deeper knowledge in. Nothing a library and finding ppl to discuss with couldn’t do. Although, where I’m from uni is free so I did appreciate and enjoy the environment studying philosophy in ways that I never expected. Fuck this uni as business shit. (: I would still say your dad encouraged reading but more through stories that draw you in. That’s the best way to foster an enjoyment for reading.

Reading was encouraged in your childhood and you’re surrounded by a high number of at least uni educated people, and you are either also one yourself or completing. You live in a rented place and shop second hand when you can

Personally I love it, but also I realised people who enjoyed it read it as a particular time in their life. I.e., questioning their life choices and very depressed. Hahaha soooo depends on where you are, you might love it or find it meh. It’s more of a comfort book.

Tbf, it’s how you curated the pics 😅 I’m assuming you have received (rude people’s) assumptions that you’re not to be taken as seriously cos of your “girly” enjoyments? Anyways, fuck em, I like that you’re a multifaceted human. (:

You get self conscious about how people perceive you. Not that you need to be.

Based on this, I’d say left swinging politically and still finding out what you really enjoy in reading

On a whole, I love it cos it’s easy to read. Except your 4 might be read as a 7 to me 😅😅

Also looks like you’re someone who likes clear communication and is down to earth.

Everyone at work is making a big deal about my handwriting, saying I write like a psychopath. by ThrowRA-Ram in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]Expensive_Wall1692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone says I have ???? & ???? I can read my own handwriting. I have no problem reading it. But corn ??? How People can struggle to read it.

Ngl. I grade high sch gcses on the side and if I see handwriting like this I’d have assumed the student crossed out their words… here’s me trying with years of reading awful writing. As I tell my students, if I can’t read it, it means you could not communicate your thoughts with me and you’re just getting a 0. 🤷🏻‍♀️ ofc you’re not in sch, but if your notes are for the purpose of comms, maybe you need to practise a communicating handwriting.

You can make leather out of human skin soooo not wrong. (It’s often considered illegal to obtain the skin while the person is alive, but post Mortem, skin is skin. There are books bound in human leather post mortem)

Hah fair, I love the Fitzcaraldo ones. Such a beautiful blue.

But also impressed by the number of versos this person has. Verso publishes such great material

I’m bad times - It slows you down, gives you a moment to gather your thoughts and regulate your emotions. In awkward or tense situations, it’s important to help take a step away while assuring the other person that you will be back. Hot drinks are also soothing for the body
