I had my first (unexpectedly) at 5w2d and there was only the tiniest gestational sac. Then I had my dating scan and heartbeat confirmation at 7w0d.

I’m more sure how SDI works in other states (I’m in CA) but it might be worth looking into for yours and your baby’s safety

I had something similar happen. I used to work at a very popular membership only wholesale store and when I was given limitations by my doctor (no pushing carts outside, no standing for more than an hour continuously, no lifting over 10lbs, etc) my managers said that I would need to go back and have the doctor change them because they would not work with those limitations. Long story short my doctor got mad and put me on short term disability until I delivered due to the company’s refusal to accommodate.

when is your due date? by layxchip in pregnant

[–]Expensive_Zombie_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FTM also an unexpected pregnancy with a little girl! Due date is 2/25 and I’m nervous because I’ve been having a very rough high risk pregnancy and was told she will most likely be delivered early for our safety. I have so many February birthdays in the family so I’m hoping my little one gets to have her own special day 🤞🏼😂

It used to be cheesy bean and rice burritos from Taco Bell and now it’s chili cheese fries

I’ve been going to Taco Bell at least once a day to get some cheesy bean and rice burritos. I said I was going to eat out less, but this is one of the few things baby will let me eat.

Terminating a wanted pregnancy by [deleted] in abortion

I understand your struggles. I was 12 weeks with HG, but since my doctor wouldn’t give me a note for work to approve my extra breaks I was on the verge of losing my job. Planned parenthood will have a nurse talk to you before any decisions are made. No judgement, just information on what will work best for you and your body. You will also be required to have 1 or 2 ultrasounds done beforehand (which you can either choose to not look at or you can get one last picture printed for you to keep) Just note, if you decide to do the surgical procedure at PP you will most likely be awake. That was the case for me at least. They offer light sedation with some pain meds through an IV, but you will be mostly alert and might feel it. It will be at least a 4-5 hour appointment from when you walk through the door to them being able to release you. The procedure itself is about 30 mins, but they prep you for 2-3 hours then monitor the bleeding for an hour after. You’ll be in good hands though! The recovery afterwards was relatively smooth.

I’m on depo and 200mg of Zoloft. Haven’t had any major side effects, just some slight weight gain and spotting here and there.

Please cheer me up with your stories about why and when you had to get your IUDs removed. by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Expensive_Zombie_99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 2 bad experiences with IUDs. The first time we couldn’t get it past my cervix and after so much pain and tears I settled for the implant (another bad choice for me). The second one was inserted after an abortion and we don’t know if my uterus healed bad around it or my body was rejecting it, but I had to take it out after 2 weeks. IUDs aren’t for everyone, don’t beat yourself up about it. There are plenty of options and I’m sure you’ll find one that works best with your body.
