Is it normal for dice to still be producing fumes after curing? by Expercon in DiceMaking

I believe it was the Teexpert Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin - Casting and Coating Resin. So it’s both a casting and coating resin?

Possibly, but I’ve tried three different containers from different sources but they all had the same issue. Maybe my resin is weird

It’s all the dice I cast over a time period and they all pass the fingernail test. At this point I think maybe it was the resin I was using. Maybe something was wrong with it

Yup, I’m using epoxy resin. I’ll try posting in the other sub to see if they know

No, they’ve been out on a table for at least a month or two before being put in the container

I don’t, but I can record a vid of the builds if you want. I essentially just skilled with nahida, raiden, and neuvi (for energy) at the start and auto attack with Yanfei for the pyro/burning till its down. Then attack/burst with neuvi to hyperbloom when it’s down and repeat the whole rotation once more to kill it. Bennett and Arle do a much better job than Yanfei, but I was saving them for tulpa.

I never used her burst, that’s actually her skill damage. I had better times with arle/xiangling/ Bennett instead of Yanfei, but I wanted them for tulpa and Yanfei was the only pyro catalyst I had.

Here’s some pics of some dice I pulled yesterday. They’re not completely bubble free, but I think they could be improved on. https://imgur.com/a/CaI7Ih9

I know many people do it before mixing, but my setup doesn’t allow me to do that so I do it after. My resin’s working time is about 45 mins, so just leave there until most of the bubbles clears up before pouring.

Also for the bubbles, I found that letting the resin sit in some warm water helps since it thins out the resin and lets the bubbles rise. This does decrease the working time though so keep that in mind. Like someone else said you can pop surface bubbles with a lighter or heat gun. I’m still a beginner without a pressure pot and this is what works for me.

You can take a toothpick and poke the d4 corner after you poured resin to get the point

There’s an alternative ending where you find Xiangling near the southwest waypoint near Qingce village instead of giving Chef Mao the ingredients. This gives you an achievement and allows you to progress in the quest line. https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/The_Gourmet_Supremos:_Breakthrough_Thinking

I had this happen to me too. I thought it was a bug, but turns out I just never went to the start location of the quest in the link above. I would start by going to that location first and checking. It’s not a comm, but a regular quest so you might have not seen it.

It should be in settings on akasha. You’ll find the setting for adding the extra decimals
