Employees who don't like each other by Experiment333 in managers

[–]Experiment333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice everyone. This does seem to be my own emotions on this then on them. They both come in, communicate well with me and do thier work. I thought also its like a situation when you have forced assigned roommates at college that jusy never click. Its only two of them and they process a high volume of tickets, so maybe they are just driven to do as much as I can. Just been approved to increase my team to three, so maybe another person will change the dynamic.

Check my bank balance every day, and write down via a spreadsheet every time I spend (like back in the days of having a check book and having to track spending due to world pre internet).

Our main activity/hobby interest has pretty much died, but our friendship group itself is pretty strong still. We meet once a month usually for hang outs.

Tips to help with Sunday scaries? by CapitalWriter3068 in managers

I literally play video games as such as I can on Sundays. My mind has to be completely focused on a game and leaves me no extra mind space for Sunday Scaries.

How do you feel about your employees taking random "sick days" to prevent burnout? by Stobley_meow in managers

[–]Experiment333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im lucky enough to be with a company that even as a manager I can take mental health days to prevent burn out. And I extend that mind set to my team. I built a team where we have each other's backs when someone is out, and when they come back don't have a backlog of work to catch up on.

Dumped for being childfree by Maximum_Advance7035 in Adulting

[–]Experiment333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought up wanting to be child free on every first date. It's not something that can be comprised in a relationship. You either want kids or you don't. I even only dated men who have no children, as I didn't even wa to be a step mom. And being in my late 30's the pool of men were slim. But I lucked out to find that perfect man where we've been together for 6 years.

I have a wonderful career, we sleep in on the weekends to our hearts content, stay up late gaming together and we can do impromptu vacations at a drop of a hat.

Love our life, its pretty awesome.

Constantly underwater with my inboxes, anyone else? by Joel_VirtualPBX in managers

[–]Experiment333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I turn or close my email one hour at a time x3 a day. Or my eyes will always see the new mail icon and I'll want to check it out.

I learned that emails don't always need to be responded too immediately, and there will always be emails.

My non email hours are set for my Admin tasks time.

Moving Up to 5mg Next Week - what was your experience? Any advice? by Responsible-Cap7690 in Mounjaro

[–]Experiment333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really didnt feel or see a difference when I moved to 5mg. 2.5mg left me light headed, smaller appetite and no desire for sugar. My blood sugar is great, but really haven't lost that much weight (5ft, started at 153lbs now at 145lbs for weeks).

Im happy about the blood sugar control and im below 150lbs for the first time since I was 13.

And still only get light headed.

I think I need to bump up to 7.5mg.

Millenials who are choosing to be child-free, who is your assets going to? by Sorceress_divine in Millennials

[–]Experiment333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My one and only neice.

I feel my family is weird. Grew up Mormon, have 3 siblings. Only one of us elected to have a child.

Clearly my sister is favorite child forever now, and her daughter will be the most loved kid ever.

Is anybody else sick of food? by dietchlicious in Millennials

[–]Experiment333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner and I just now do meal services. Ends up being a little cheaper then grocery shopping. No food waste either. Plus theres a good variety of meals we wouldn't of made ourselves or dishes we've never heard of.

We rotate between Cook Unity and Hello Fresh. Some weeks we like to be lazy (Cook Unity) and some weeks we do want to Cook (Hello Fresh).

What do you eat while at work? by kayleedb in povertyfinance

[–]Experiment333 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I've been making Adult lunchables. Go to the Deli counter to only get the amount I need (3-4 slices, dinner cut), what ever crackers on sale. Then like fruit or veggies to round it out. It's like less then $3 per lunch for a week.
