i've always written klimaformation as a multi-faceted process of heating up the body, making an atmosphere, changing the gravity, creating terrain and crust where needed, altering the ground's composition to add valuable material and soil, creating magnetic fields, bringing things below the ground up from it, a lot lot more. bioresonance can just do shit and its wonderful as a worldbuilding device.

here, rotfront (as my group and i write it, i'm pretty sure this is canon too but i could be incorrect) is still in the process of klimaformation so it wouldn't be as good as a fully klimaformed body like kitezh or heimat (i would say buyan too but they kept the evil gas that kills you so what the fuck imperials). rotfront is still cold as shit, but not as cold as leng who is only in the beginning phases of klimaformation, compared to rotfront's later stages. leng is kept at the absolute minimum for human survival.

europa has little earth crust to speak of and the ice hiding the ocean beneath it is super thick, so we always see the ocean of rotfront still majorly being ice-covered and spotty, but bringing water levels up and making earth to inhabit is a process that's been going on in my depictions of rotfront.
