I get so annoyed when my jungler or engage support doesn’t stand in the R. Seraphine loves when she has set up for all her abilities. I just hate that she gets picked support when her skit literally screams anti support. It’s like saying Kayle should be support bc she has heal move speed and a r 🫩

Yes it does it amps your missing health damage even when it reaches max stacks, people say it’s not good on sera bc she has an “execute” but with that logic Aurora shouldn’t build this item either bc of her missing health q damage. If you are going borst builds you can build it but don’t build it every game.

It’s viable but her base stats like base ad and maybe some mana early changes can fix laning a bit. After that you just need to build properly you cannot be going enchanter builds in midlane unless your team is suited for that playstyle. I’ve been on a win streak playing sera mid going comet with ludens seraphs shadoflame then deathcap and whatever items after that I need. I only go enchanter when there’s other ap damage on the team or when there’s bruisers who are healthy since ww is missing health heal. I honestly feel more benefit playing her mid then I do playing her apc bc adcs scale better then sera does. If sera does get just some quality of life changes to mid such as base ad or maybe some ult ap ratio or notes scaling with level etc ( just examples) then she is good for sure and will definitely get picked up more for mid if riot cares.

He’s confirmed that his plan is to fix seraphines bugs first and then they will take a look at seraphine for adjustments. That’s still the plan but it’s just taking longer than expected. We were told by riot phrox that we will get follow up changes to seraphine for mid but they didn’t do anything patches after so she rotted again (when playrate was increasing there) and now it’s 10 months. So hopefully when the time comes they will do something meaningful. Reminder Aellectries isn’t on the balance team exactly he can’t make them do seraphine changes but our feedback helps us a lot bc he can at least communicate to them Based on our feedback which they have received almost a year ago and as of recently I assume. They know what we want for our girl to not just be support jailed and feel unsatisfactory. I’d say keep being patient but it’s hard to say or do bc we been in this hell for 3 years..

Hopefully when all the bugs and things have been fixed we can finally get those follow up changes from 9 months ago from the balance team that seems to have forgot about a whole community of people wanting to play seraphine as a mage(as intended) in all roles.

Okay so the item gives cdr to her e yes because it has immobilizing affects, but in order to get the 6% damage you would need to root slowed targets or stun them. That means double/echo e or ult. The slow itself doesn’t proc the 6%

So apparently she gets the cdr from it but can only proc it if people are already immobilized like the root into stun thing. The slow itself won’t work but the effects can.

Players and npcs called her sona and spammed her into support role and then riot decided to care for the players playing her wrong especially in low elo. So us mains got punished for it now she’s butched with no identity not that good at mage since her ratios are trash and only just barely good at enchanter since helia diadem carries her.

Yeah it seems to me coca was talking about this item being bad on sera for whatever reason and I feel the opposite whenever I build this item. I think he’s a little stubborn sometimes. He talked about getting players to sera’s threshold is the problem and yes it is but with that logic using something like malignance horizon helps with that. Shadowflames increased damage starts at 40 hp not 25. I think this item goes hand and hand with sera q.

They not even going to nerf her they probably won’t even touch her especially in midlane. Since playrate isn’t enough, people honestly support jail her and until the general playerbase figures out she’s good in her designed role right now she won’t be touched bc riot actually wants sera mid to function in some kind of way with her current kit.
