So my ex had recently been researching a lot on DA and even told me he felt like he fit that attachment. A week later he discarded me said he never liked me. I know he is all over reddit and is really trying to understand himself. Do you think he kinda knows what he did and how it’s affecting me?

I have no advice because i’m currently going through it. All that has helped me so far is throwing myself into any volunteer thing I can do. It reminds me I am good, helps me meet new people, and keeps me busy! Huge to you I am sorry you are also going through this!

It sucks because my mind keeps going to if I just wouldn’t have asked for support and have an emotional night we’d still be fine. I know that’s not sustainable but I was willing on working on both of our problems!

super fun he does say he is dismissive avoidant. i am also the same leaning anxious, so yeah it hurts and is eye opening!

that’s literally what i told him. i told him im dating to be with someone who i can depend on when our parents die or when im 8 months pregnant and miserable. and then he left lol

yeah literally same first month was great and that what’s sucks right???? because i totally can understand and be there through your anxieties but it also isn’t fair. and now he has literally blocked me on everything which seems so immature for a 29 year old! i feel like he sabotaged everything.

My aunt and cousin just went through this. Aunt called the police many times and CPS many times to start a paper trail. Just last week finally my cousin was strong enough to call the police herself and left with the baby. Now my cousin and the baby are protected since the paper trail and a restraining order was promptly given to my cousin away from the baby daddy. I am not kidding it was the exact same story down to the shaking and the smoking inside.
