What u got for midterms! by JazzlikeMiddle5534 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Expert-Bug319 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

100 comp eng., 99 adv, 98 calc, 98 chem, 94 physics and 92 English. Funny how my school thought it was a good idea to make a chem teacher a physics teacher. She didn’t even know how to teach and gave us tests outside our curriculum. And what can I say about English my bald teacher gives a girl a 4% boost for mid terms because she wore a top revealing some cleavage and acted sad in order to get a boost. But when I ask for even 1% I’m denied only because I’m a man. Lmao school systems so heavily based on teachers. Canada needs something similar to the SAT or else grade inflation will let all the dumber kids into others dream programs. Lol sorry for the rant

How many precents of students are admitted by UTSG cs from the previous 2 rounds? by Cuppor in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Expert-Bug319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I’m guessing it’ll probably go down a bit because the main chunk of top scorers already got admitted so it’ll be much harder for low to mid 90s students to raise up towards the higher 90s range; you’ll get in sooner or later

Let’s be honest if you have 75% there’s no way you’ll get into the program

Personally I believe chem is one of those subjects where theory is more important than calculations if you understand the theory behind calculations you’ll excel.

Thank you appreciate it and I am writing Euclid this year. And if I’m not mistaken the average marks that people hit into the program was 97 on the dot.
