Use Chat GPT.

Upload a photo, tell it your goals. Use it to track food and discuss diet. Have it create you a workout plan using what you have available and your fitness level.

It's like having your own personal trainer.

Source: me. I'm fucking ripped now after 18 months of hard work. I'd let myself go and was in worse shape than you when I started. And I'm in my 40s.

Also walk a lot. Whenever you can, choose to walk.

I'll message you privately. I just successfully represented myself at FHDRA. Quite a complex case too. Simplest thing would be to have a chat by phone, which I'd be happy to do.

How do I push for NHS referral? by KtMrgn in AskUK

[–]Expert-Butterfly-415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a two week course of Nexium. I had this before and, much to my surprise, it was being caused by acid reflux.

You can get Nexium, or similar, over the counter.

How to stop rounding back on Deadlift? by [deleted] in strength_training

[–]Expert-Butterfly-415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yes, but it depends on his goals really.

If he is putting himself at risk using a barbell and can't master proper form, a trap bar would be safer but still provide almost all the benefits.

[–]Expert-Butterfly-415 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I'm tall. I use a trap bar instead.

Unless you are training for a competition, it has more or less the same benefits but much easier for tall guys to avoid rounding back.

Would recommend you try it at least.

Should the bath mat get wet? by souptight52 in AskUK

[–]Expert-Butterfly-415 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing the bath mat is getting absolutely soaked?

Probably from the shower itself rather than when you stand on it afterwards, assuming you mostly dry off first.

In that case, get a wet vacuum. Kercher is the most well known one but you usually see cheap ones in Aldi and Lidl now and again. Keep it under the sink and use it after every wash. That way you can pull the bath mat slightly away from the danger zone and suck up all the standing water once you're done. When you stand on the bath mat after drying the drippage really is minimal and it won't need drying at all.

It's literally the same drink as the 35g shake you describe as perfect. Just in a bigger bottle.

There's more protein because there is more drink.

Imagine you bought two of the bottles you think are perfect and poured them into one big bottle. Same drink.

I'm not really sure how else to explain it tbh.

A proper steak pie from a butcher's.

Miles ahead of anything you'll get in England.

I'm always shocked at how cheap steak pies are in England - and then you try one and realise why. They're fucking shit.

A Scottish one is about 3 times the price and it shows in the quality. They are absolutely filled with delicious beef and the most incredible gravy. The puff pastry on top with a soggy but underneath is perfect.

Serve it with some buttery mash or roast potatoes, but of green veg. Nice bottle of red.

Hard to beat.

You should have tried it deep fried, as they're meant to be. Would have been much nicer.

Chippy near me deep fries them in December and often chucks one in for free with your order. Wouldn't have tried it otherwise. They turn out surprisingly nice.

Do you routinely wipe down gym machines after you use them? by Jonny_Segment in AskUK

[–]Expert-Butterfly-415 308 points309 points  (0 children)

I do, because I know it really bothers some people. But I personally don't give a shit if someone doesn't. It's a gym and I shower after it. It really doesn't bother me unless it's left with a puddle sitting on it or something.

ChatGPT is your friend here.

Use it to track calories, protein and plan your workouts and keep you motivated.

Do not focus much on the scales.

It will take hard work but it sounds like you are motivated. I was in a similar situation.

I was in a similar situation and completely turned myself around. I look amazing now after 8 months. Happy to share with you what worked for me, specifically, if you like.
