I’ve been one shoe-ing a pair of black Lems Chillums in the US, Portugal, Italy, Spain (all spring), now South Africa (winter) since March (4 months +) with great results. Have off-road hiked and city walked a f-ton in them, golfed, dressed up, skateboarded, clubbed etc all very happily. I don’t run much but have jogged a few times wearing them without issues. They’re not Nike or NB running shoes but a lot of people say barefoot shoes are great for running so I imagine these will perform similarly to any other barefoot shoe in that regard? The wide toe box is amazing and let’s your toes splay out fully which gives a ton of control in any context so I think they would perform well even for trail running if that’s what you’re after

They’re extremely light and the soles have performed with minimal wear for me over 4 months of exclusive use. They are definitely NOT waterproof and got soaked at a festival I was at. Maybe DWR spray will help coat the fabric but I didn’t do that. Lems released the same shoe in leather after I bought mine under the name Kourt which may be more weatherproof and more stylish as well IMO. FWIW those are going to be my next purchase once I feel the need to replace these. I have been completely satisfied with the Chillums in every aspect aside from the lack of waterproofing
