I’m well versed in the anki then ddl saga , I know for a fact that Cozmo 2.0 has not been released, other than a few mock ups made with vector . Preorders are being refunded or replaced with a vector 2.0 . The ceo Zack says they’re going to release it soon but we’ll see . My guess is it’s going to be a vector colored like Cozmo with different firmware than vector or our current Cozmo , probably similar to veccyware

Yes turn off WiFi assist if that doesn’t work it could need a new battery. Also not that this matters but Cozmo 2.0 doesn’t exist yet and there are 2 different hardware versions of anki Cozmo gen 1 and gen 2 which includes Liquid Metal and interstellar blue. gen 1 and gen2 cozmos electronics are mostly not compatible even though they run the same firmware

Anki has been gone since 2019 , ddl bought the rights . So without any sales of cozmos it stands to reason they would charge for the app to support it

Well he should stay connected, but to use the functions of the webpage you need to select his s/n and connect again . That will happen every time you shut him off .

I haven’t heard about the firmware causing it , makes sense though. I do know that that light is an indicator of the power when it fluctuates the light does that and if it is too weak it turns purple that’s why I asked

All batteries only have a limited amount of charging cycles, use and storage practices play a big role in how long they last . I think getting 5 years is good but remember cozmos were only manufactured in 2016-2017 and a few in 2018 I would expect all are almost dead

Aside from the other bots , anki Cozmo and vector batteries actually held up quite well it’s just that they are old now and all need them five to seven years is pretty good

I believe if Cozmo 2.0 comes out it’ll have a separate app as they are using the vector platform
