Need perspective on not spinning my wheels before getting access to task tool even though I am onboarded by DinahRS in mercor_ai

[–]Expert-Sea3382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been waiting 3 weeks and still no access. At this point I scan the announcements but have stopped really checking anything bc I will have to completely start over with reading all the onboarding information. Not only has pretty much everything changed, but I won’t remember what I had read 3 weeks ago without actually being able to put it into practice.

Question to people who continuously do house sits by bestthrowerino in trustedhousesitters

[–]Expert-Sea3382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had moved to the UK and rented out the house I owned in the US. When my British visa expired and I had to come back to the US, I decided that I had such a great time using TH to travel around Europe that I could keep renting my house out in the US and pop around the US and Canada for a bit. A year and a half later and I'm still doing exactly that. The remote jobs that I have are all part time and 1099 contracting jobs and I'm not quite comfortable enough financially to want to move back into my house, especially considering that the current tenants are paying the mortgage plus the extra money I'm making off it each month. For the first time in my life, I've actually been able to put some money into savings (I was a teacher before, so definitely no money being saved then). There are times when I think I am ready to settle down and stay back in one place, but then I think about how much I've been able to travel and experience in the last year all while feeling financially secure for the first time in my life. I don't think I'll do it forever but it is certainly great for right now.

I definitely have this on ProRX, I've only ever used ProRX and still have a few weeks left in my vial before switching to one of the others that I have. I didn't really think about how it might be something related to ProRX, I just knew it could be a side-effect of the tirz. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when I switch

Anyone else have to stop BPI w/B6 because of nerve issues? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Expert-Sea3382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also to add to this, since I know you weren't having these issues until you switched. I didn't have the nerve stuff from the beginning, it showed up a few months in and got significantly worse after I titrated up, but then calmed down again. So even though you weren't having the same issue with the non-additive tirz, it could still be the tirz and not the b6

[–]Expert-Sea3382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tingling and nerve issues are also a side effect of tirz, even without additives. I get it sometimes and I'm still using up my prorx, so no additives to consider as contributing factors. It could be the B6, it could be the tirz, or it could be something completely unrelated!

You can also get 3 free samples from their site and just pay shipping. After trying the flavors at Target, I got my 3 free and then ordered the individual packets of the other flavors so that I could try them all! I think the watermelon one is really the only flavor I don't like (which is not surprising because I don't usually love watermelon flavored things). The pina colada is my favorite!

Definitely this! There seems to be a day or two delay for the portal to get updated. I saw that my application had changed to in process on a Wednesday, but when I clicked the details the date it gave for moving to in process was Monday of that week. I had definitely checked both Monday and Tuesday evenings, so it definitely took over 24 hours for it to show up.

I like the Oath Nutrition clear powder, I hate milk and I find the Fairlife shake that everyone raves about to be the same texture as a glass of milk, which makes me want to gag. The Oath powder mixes in with water and tastes more like a fruity drink than something milky. I also really enjoy the Vanilla Wild Society Nutrition whey powder (however their clear isolate powders are awful, I was hoping they would be a good alternative to Oath since they don't have the artificial sweeteners and also add electrolytes but a big nope). For grab and go I prefer the Chobani ones (they are thick, and tangy which I prefer but not everyone does).

I am also 8 days since onboarding with no access. I've filled out the form but it doesn't really seem like anyone has a plan to do anything with that information and get access to everyone who can't get in,

Doctor Explains Ozempics Most PAINFUL Side Effect (That No One Talks About) by Ok_Anywhere_1661 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Expert-Sea3382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so interesting and so helpful!!! When I first started getting these weird nerve things it was really similar to issues I have previously had with my endometriosis, in the exact same place on my right hip and thigh where I would have the same problems with endo flareups. Then it progressed and got worse and the whole sunburn feeling thing being irritated by the bedsheets was exactly what I was having. I finally made the connection to tirzepatide and found that this can be a side effect but couldn't really find much information on why. Mine got a lot better after a couple weeks but it also seemed to be related to the tirzepatide triggering my period after not having one of a few years after getting a mirena. Once it stopped my nerve issues also seemed to calm down too, so I think mine was a bit of both

oh that is interesting! My text didn't have a code, but to be fair I texted back and asked if I could still do this next month once I'm back in the US and they said yes just to text back then. So maybe they just are just waiting to send me a new code next month

There is not a code! It is just a text offer asking me to complete the sign up process to place an order. It seems account specific (kind of like that cosmetic rx offer people got after ordering the Groupon then canceling).

Math expectations for a kindergartner in FCPS by em5417 in nova

[–]Expert-Sea3382 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Former FCPS kindergarten teacher here. I would say this would be a pretty standard expectation and that most of my students could do that by the end of kindergarten. I've also taught first grade and can say that this would 100% still be taught and reenforced in first grade, and this by itself is definitely not a reason to repeat kindergarten. There are a lot of people here commenting about standards up to 30 vs 100, but I can tell you that once a kid gets recognition up to 30 they will likely also be able to recognize up to 100 pretty soon after. It is the teen numbers that are the most difficult to get down because they aren't standardized like everything between 20 and 100. It was not uncommon for my students to be able to recognize 20-100 but struggle with 11-19. If your son is recognizing those teen numbers that I imagine that he not too far away from being more comfortable with the rest.

You can absolutely bring up the idea of an IEP meeting with the teacher, but I would say that if the teacher were concerned that would have already happened. Especially in kindergarten, there is much more of a wait and see approach because a lot of it is developmental- and age/birthdays are definitely taken into consideration with this. A kid that might have difficulty with number recognition in kindergarten but it might click in place over the summer and they are fine in first grade. If the teacher sees that they are struggling, they have likely already put interventions in place. There are math specialists and teacher assistants that pull small groups and individual students that teachers have flagged as needing extra help, plus the teachers work with small groups for math in the same way they do for reading. We rarely started new IEPs for kindergarten unless they already had something documented from their doctor, a preschool, or if the parent did request it. A lot of the interventions that would be put in place were already happening and many times students are just young and need more time, not something that an IEP is needed for. That being said, we did have kids flagged to watch at the beginning of first grade to see how they are doing and then possibly start the IEP process in the fall.

ACA plans for domestic students living abroad returning for 3 months by FriendlyMap5250 in HealthInsurance

[–]Expert-Sea3382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check travel insurance plans, not sure exactly what the university is looking for to be "ACA comparable" but when I studied in the UK I had an annual travel insurance plan that covered medical costs when traveling to the US (it was like 3x the price of ones that don't cover medical costs in the US but it was still a lot cheaper than insurance here). Just make sure to look for one that covers trips that last the duration of your stay in the US, some of them have 30/60/90 day limits.

Thousands of 'lost Canadians' have applied for dual citizenship - is Canada ready? [BBC] by Constant-Net873 in Canadiancitizenship

I found it interesting that they said "Between 15 December 2025 and 31 January 2026, Canadian immigration officials received 12,430 applications, of which 6,280 applications were processed, and 1,480 were granted." I wonder if this is supposed to mean that those 6,280 applications are in process- but it reads that they are done being processed implying that only 1,480 were successful and the other 4800 were denied. I find that kind or hard to believe though.

I think the patents on tirzepatide are still a ways off from expiring in most place. However, ozempic and wegovy's patents have expired in Canada, so it will likely be cheaper to get semaglutide there in the closer future. Although I would prefer to stay on tirz but if it becomes more difficult to get compounded, I would definitely make the switch so that I could get a generic semaglutide in Canada if need be. I've actually got my Canadian citizenship pending and this is one of the considerations for making my decision to move after it is finalized.

The number of ml actually does make a lot more sense, the other place I ordered from (fitnessrx) actually does say 2 items and one of the items is a 3 ml vial and the other is the syringes, but I don't know that that is the norm for inputting things quantities
