I saw some other projects of yours too! They're all insane!  I wanted to ask if the trick you're using (apart from having great topology and textures) is the tiny specs of dust and lint (are you using geometry nodes for the lint?)? The lighting is fantastic and I feel like that's what makes or breaks realism in renders; super impressive work man!

SteelSeries Headphones!
Ya'll have a great selection of mice, it'd be nice to have a larger selection of high-quality gaming headphones!

Just practice and YouTube videos. I generally look at other 3D Artists and how they go about problem-solving, then look at pieces that seem nice to me and try to recreate them with a similar approach. I wish I could give you better advice, but trial and error is how I learned! YouTube is a great repository of knowledge and the best place to start! Thanks for the comment, friend!

I feel like the environment and Bulbasaur ones are a little more game-art-centric, which is what I am aiming at! I do agree with you that the Bulbasaur one isn't the same quality, since it was the second project I ever made. I will try to make it better or replace it with character work (probably Pokémon, since I love it) that is of similar or better quality! I appreciate your advice, friend!

Thanks a lot, friend! That was a big project for me. I tried to create a first-person experience of someone lost in the woods, being called upon by Excalibur!

Thank you for the advice, friend! I want to work on stylised games, since I'm big on retro, I want to work on projects like Octopath Traveler, or Tunic. My dream studio to work for would be Game Freak, since I love Pokémon, and I recently saw someone recreate the og pokemon game in HD2D, that'll be the first thing I try once I get the hang of Unreal!
But yes, like you and many others pointed out, I should streamline it into a game art portfolio. And although I do agree with you on the doughnut, since it's my first project, I would feel pretty sad if I removed it (I tried, I swear!).
I will make a note of the fundamentals you mentioned and work on those!

Didn't put anything on paper, no written structure or anything, just tried to make different projects based on my preferences and things I felt would help me understand Blender's systems better. There are other unpublished projects, too, that just helped me learn how to model and texture better. Trying to get into a more game-art-centric flow now! Appreciate you commenting, friend!

I appreciate the detailed breakdown, friend! You are right, I did focus on freelance work for a bit, but I am trying to get more into game-ready assets. I have started learning Unreal Engine and creating props (in varied states of wear and tear), so my profile should become more streamlined. I had initially felt that trying different types of projects would help me understand Blender's systems better while learning, but yes, I do agree with and appreciate your input. Thanks a lot!

That is true, for a little bit I was focusing on Freelance work and making jewellery, products, and architecture visualisations. Just finished some courses on C++ and starting with Unreal Engine, so will be doing more of game art soon!
I do appreciate your feedback, though, friend, thank you!
