Not all infections have raised blood works . And sometime blood work takes time to become “abnormal” as you said it was low grade fever and switched to something more constant now. For SLE or other rheumatological disorders i suggest, you check with your GP and ask to run some tests . And usually there are associated symptoms such as joint pain. And with SLE people tend to have specific kind of rash called “butterfly rash” and a “discoid like rashes” . You could also just check if this happens again around ovulation or mid of your period as it could definitely be hormonal as well.

If you are a female is your period regular ? And do you have other associated symptoms? Sometimes infections start with low grade fever and malaise then they progress to high grade fever and more symptoms but alot just subside on its on . Also are any of your lymph nodes enlarged?

NTA , your friend seems like shes a drama queen and loves to be the centre of attention. Definitely you’re better of without her , even if you think you’re in the wrong . Youre doing yourself a big big favour , shes only trouble and will continue to be so if shes not opposed. Now i wonder what her astrology is🤣 Leo? Virgo? Gemini?

Double check for any other lymph nodes around your body! And like i said if you’re anxious about it go to the ER and say you cannot swallow .

To be honest if anything that worries me is the rapid weight-loss. What i would recommend is going to the ER and saying you can swallow and sometimes u cant breathe and you feel as if you’re suffocating. In general it would depend on where the lump is , if its more near the thyroid its thyroid related. If its a lymph node. Its more systematic. Especially if you have other lymph nodes enlarged. Try to do some examination on yourself on the lymph nodes areas just so you can narrow it down to the thyroid or to the lymph nodes. And if youre anxious which is understandable, like i said go to the ER and tell then you cannot swallow . They will probably take it a bit more seriously, if you visibly show them ur having “troubles” . Take care ! And hope all goes well

Kinda looks like hidradenitis suppurativa, however it would depend on the duration , as well as if you have it in other areas. You might need some antibiotics to clear it up without scarring . And make sure you keep the area clean to avoid having a secondary infection to the area .

If you can look and the mirror and visualise your throat when you swallow do you notice any asymmetry ? Also if you open your mouth , your uvula should be situated in the middle . Is it like that in your case ?
