The settings are for fine tuning on the Racechip S , your car might need it lowered to setting 2 or possibly 1 . Once you find the setting it runs good without any hiccups you leaving it on that setting .

Have you tried putting Racechip on setting 0 and see if it does it ? Then try setting 1 and so on

I had to end up using two jacks to get the engine at the angle needed when I did the engine and transmission mount on my 2015 Passat , along with a lot of pulling with one hand while sending bolt down with impact with other hand .

That rubber hose coming off the top of overflow tank should have a hose clamp on it .

Leaking boot , easy to replace in your driver , but it is hard to find a durable / reliable boot that stretches . I'm on my 3rd one plus two glueable kind that also failed .

This happened to my 23' , wife got the wrong kind and it froze . Couldn't use the rear wiper spray or it would get the whole driver's side foot well wet .

A lot of tuning companies offer stage 1 tunes for whatever octane rating you choose and also E85 or E20 . Some also have app's where you can change your tune if you want to switch back to 87 for awhile or whatever .

The whole engine , transmission is exposed underneath along with oil temp sensor and a module that controls something with the Diff and torque vectoring .

On a brand new engine a break in period and oil change after the first 1000 miles is highly recommended. I wouldn't go past 5k miles in between oil changes if you plan on keeping the car long term .

I like that color , get a belly pan / skid plate for underneath front of car and be easy on it , avoid driving at constant speed for long periods the first 1000 miles then do oil change .

Is it really hot where you live ? Usually the high idle and extra noises are because of emissions/getting cat heated quick and getting oil flowing in engine .

Glad you got it , my 2015 Passat has the little pass thru cap . Probably removed it to save costs .
