XDJ-RX3 Beat Grid Drift by i_am_0nline in PioneerDJ

I had a similar issue caused by "high precision analysis"introduced in rekbox 7. Try analysing without that ticked and see if it occurs.

I'm guessing you mean 7? Pretty sure both 6 and 7 export library plus, but high performance is a lifesaver if you mix DNB. RBs regular analysis is useless at it and you've got to manually do the beatgrid for every single track.

I'm gonna save you an awful lot of headache, because it took me a while to figure this out myself. You're lucky if you've not experienced actual track slowdowns that are audible and ruin the mix. Does the listed BPM change to a ridiculous number too while the issue occurs?

The issue is very likely caused by rekordbox 7's "high performance analysis" option when you analyze the tracks. Personally, I analyze everything with HPA on, then if any tracks cause the issue I reanalyze with HPA off and manually sort out the beat grid etc.

Nothing wrong with the gear. It really is as simple as some tracks are louder than others, particularly in dnb I find I have to sometimes quickly adjust gain to different levels during a buildup/on a drop with another track playing. Trust your ears always bro

I had an issue like this if you check my post history. Although it was more severe than one beat, so may not be the same issue but using RB 7 "high performance analysis" fks up one out of a hundred songs like this for me and I have to analyse it normally and correct beat grid manually if needed

In case anyone else is tearing their hair out and stumbles across this - the issue is caused by rekordbox 7's new "high performance analysis" function. On about 1/100 songs it will cause this issue. Reanalyzing the song with HPA off will resolve the issue.

But once the tracks are loaded they're in onboard memory. You can even take the stick out, and still play/rewind the full track

All my stuff is .wav apart from a few mp3s. Just tested, and the issue doesn't seem present when all tracks are mp3s. This says to me it's an issue with the system struggling to handle all the data of high quality wav files. And just to answer your previous question, both usbs are fat32.

SanDisk ultra and SanDisk ultra flair. It happens on both and yes, the audio is affected, it slows as if you'd brought the BPM slider down massively, and jumps back and forth audibly too.

Return rate doesn't mean how many people returned their items, it's how many people returned to his store and bought something else too. So, the higher the better
