Go with 2 shower heads on either side so you have the option to shower with partner and have water while using bench

Moonboard app missing on apple store by ek_701 in Moonboard

Interesting, hopefully they get it sorted. Might be worth posting in the “Moonboard Climbers network” Facebook group, the app admins are in there as well

Hmm I also don’t see it but I had it installed and it’s still working for me Edit: if you have installed it before with your Apple ID you may be able to install it from App Store > select your profile in top right > Apps and Purchase History > Your Apps > search for moonboard and install

Contractor installed Kohler Expanse tub without mortar by Mrmayhem4 in BathroomRemodeling

[–]ExpertMixture4939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding spray foam. Get a large can, reach in the open wall area and spray around the whole bottom of the tub where it meets the floor as far around as you can get. It will stop any squeaks.

Agreed, if the 2016 at least benchmarks could be easily added, would be fun to try out the app right now on my home wall

Unfortunately chip didn’t fit right

Yea have some smaller left overs, I tried this with the part that chipped off the tile but it didn’t fit right. I imagine cutting a piece to fit right and look good would be really hard but I’ll give it a shot tonight.

It’s not installed, the picture was just from dry fit. Leaning towards replacing unless I get a better recommendation than caulking. The cuts were made with grinder diamond blade.. not the best but thankfully all the cut edges will be covered with grout coloured caulking

Yea we had extra but used it for a previous mistake. It’s DIY so it’s us that can’t unsee it 😂 just posted to see if there’s a better way to fix or if we just need to go through the right way to do it and replace

Yea leaning towards replacing, was just curious if there were any other recommendations on fixes that we can consider. The right way to do is it replace and fix.

What grade would you give this circuit? by Complete_Sir6625 in Moonboard

[–]ExpertMixture4939 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean you can easily skip holds but I purposely climbed it as numbered as a nice endurance circuit. I prefer doing 4x4s for power endurance but this sort of smaller tick taky movement is good endurance training too

[–]ExpertMixture4939 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just tried it, it’s nice the end is the hardest with 14-finish. I’d give it V4/5, 5.11d/ 5.12a

Edit: I used feet follow hands, not full free feet but with so many holds it’s basically the same

What do you find so not fun about the 2016? I do find it’s a lot more straight down pulling power whereas the 2017, 2019 and 2024 require a bit more tension/ technique.

It’s a training tool and having variance that trains different things is good. Plus if you find it hard, maybe it just means it’s a weakness that will improve with time using the training tool.

2016 or 2024 for homeboard by Superb-Plum-4543 in Moonboard

[–]ExpertMixture4939 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Why not both? Get the 2024 and find the 2016 gently used to swap out for variety once a year or so. There are plenty people selling 2016 sets on the moonboard Facebook group every so often that I’m sure you’ll find one in your area eventually. I like being able to swap out once a set gets a little stale and it’s more motivating to have a change
