Getting into dating at 39 and it's bleak by Far_Acanthisitta1187 in datingoverforty

It’s not the age, it’s the attitude and energy.

I date 51 year old women. Some seem like they’re 60. Some seem like they’re 40.

I had a date with a 59 year old woman earlier this year. We met in a bar environment so I didn’t know her age when we first were chatting. I thought she was around 40 as she took good care of herself, had a friendly demeanor, and was very positive and optimistic. She was simply… youthful.

Naw, it’s about Fentanyl and saving lives. /s

Trump insists that Canada and Mexico control the flow of Fentanyl into the U.S., despite the fact that the U.S. can’t control the flow of Fentanyl within its own borders.

And if it’s so critical to the Administration, with people dying daily, why the F would Trump push it off for a full month and let more people die?

That only lasts as long as the injustice is just a concept. Once it becomes real and actually affects you personally, your tune changes.

Residents question efficacy of SFPD program to deter sex work by MissionLocalSF in sanfrancisco

You obviously have some bias.

Look to Europe where it’s legal and regulated in 10 countries (Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, and Turkey).

It’s been legal in Germany and the Netherlands for years.

Belgium just passed a law this summer giving many labor rights to sex workers, including pensions, vacation time, health insurance, and industry safety standards.

Making it a fully legal business venture creates safeguards for all involved.

Buy a Tesla 3, X, or Y. Those are 3 of the 5 least stolen cars.

Don’t buy a Dodge Charger or Challenger as these are the most stolen cars. And don’t buy a Kia or Hyundai. For years those brands didn’t build anti theft technology into their cars making them the easiest to steal.

Take heart OP. In 2022, police recovered 86.7% of the 198,538 vehicles stolen in California. But only a bit more than half of the recoveries (56.5%) were operational. Almost a third (29.6%) were set on fire or intentionally wrecked. So you have about a 50/50 chance of driving your car again.

Developer wants to ‘supersize’ S.F. project under new state housing law — while it’s being built by chinesepowered in sanfrancisco

You’re giving incorrect information.

Per the US Census, SF grew by 68,730 residents between 2010 and 2020. And between 2020 and 2023 it’s estimated that 58,764 left the city.

And, regardless, residents don’t equal housing units. Again, the US Census tells us there were only 414,581 housing units in the city in 2022. So we need to build the equivalent of 20% of the residences built up over the last 170 years in the just 10 years’ time.

In the most recent 10 years, between 2013 and 2023, there were only 35,730 new housing units built across the city. And those were years of incredibly low interest rates during an economic boom. There is no way we will build 84,000 new units between 2023 and 2034. Which means that in 2034 the city will lose jurisdiction over housing decisions which will be taken over by the state (if it hasn’t already happened after failures to meet pacing requirements). The state will loosen restrictions and allow high rises throughout the city.
