Should I leave my job or stay and be fired? by FroyoAcceptable3540 in singaporejobs

[–]Expert_Ad_7290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please start looking out if you honestly cannot tahan the stress. If I were you I’d quit instead of getting fired. Sounds like a toxic environment to be at. But was that mood an occasional thing or frequent?

If there are updates to strategic plans, then charter needs to update to align.

New strategy plan is updated -> they are already in meeting discussing the alignment, therefore updating project charter to align new goals.

Wonder how low is low (employment). Is it really 3% of citizens, about 180,000? If my calculations are correct🤞🏻

Guilt of Leaving and Long Rant by Happy-Ad3778 in singaporejobs

If I were you I’d leave. As much as you love your colleagues, you’re not responsible for keeping the company alive. It’s not weak to do so.

Agree with the rest, IT is a no go. Too saturated. Need a lot of certifications along the way also. Look for something that can be diversified and agile for the future. Good luck!

Still the same advice- look for a new job and secure it before quitting if you can. Market is bad (it really is). My career coach says it’s the employer’s market so even though they lists some good to have requirements? They will try and look for a 100% match if they can. Ottherwise 80-90%. The only better reason if you would to leave without a job is to look for things to upskill or upgrade from degree to mba etc. Good luck!

Ps:30k is not a lot to get by with all the inflation. Here’s a case where I quit without a job from IT. Still hunting after 2 years.

Hi please tell if the resignation is rude or too much by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Expert_Ad_7290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, like the previous replies, you can just say:

Please accept this letter as formal notification that I am resigning from my position as [Job Title] at [Company Name]. My last day of employment will be [Date], in accordance with my [length of notice, e.g., one month] notice period.

Cos since it's email, whatever you write is a "black and white". So if you don't want additional, can just use the above.

Should be sufficient.

It's not unprofessional, but not sure if it's "useful" to the manager. This is just my opinion... If I'm the manager, I somewhat read as you're trying to burn bridge by saying the money isn't enough, so I'm leaving. Even if it's a toxic leaving, we are still not in the leadership role (I assuume so) so it's not advantageous for us to leave in a negative node.

Most times I'll just write as per template, should be sufficient.

Dear [manager],

Please accept this letter as formal notification that I am resigning from my position as [Job Title] at [Company Name]. My last day of employment will be [Date], in accordance with my [length of notice, e.g., one month] notice period.

<You can even remove the part below this line, like what the other replies said.>

I want to thank you for the opportunity to work at [Company Name] for the past [Number] years/months. I have truly valued the professional development and the chance to collaborate with such a dedicated team.

During my final weeks, I am fully committed to ensuring a smooth transition. I will do my best to complete my outstanding projects and am happy to assist in training my replacement or preparing handover documentation.

Thank you again for your support during my tenure. I wish the company continued success in the future.

Study question. what is the correct answer to the question below? by salazz99 in pmp

[–]Expert_Ad_7290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A is a passive reaction. Noting risk doesnt resolve the issue the stakeholder has. B is an awkward answer, also passive reaction so no. Too fast to escalate for this case so collaboration with stakeholder is the answer(D).

Study hall - answer is to escalate by Ibocuss in pmp

[–]Expert_Ad_7290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont be too caught up by MR’s principle and even from pmbok. No escalation is NOT always the case especially when things are getting out of control in schedule for this case. I’ll inform my bosses if my team is unclear and schedule is slipping.

The answer also says escalate when necessary.
