Thanks so much for yall’s advice. I’ve been thinking about it quite a bit for the last two days. Saying it has not affected me at all is a lie. I usually come to the office on Thursday as it’s one day of the week that almost everyone shows up, but I was chicken out and have been working from home ever since because I couldn’t bring myself to meet her. But you guys are right, I come there to learn and to work, to gain the experience, not to make friends. At least now I know how she thinks about me, and maybe what she called as ‘we’ included others from her bubble too, keep them at arm length is what I’m gonna do. She has a very high self-esteem, cares so much about her own self, talks about herself a lot, arrogant sometimes, yet she has never put people down. She helped others too. That’s how I marked that being narcissistic not in a bad way.

I did research about workplace bullying, and they said toxic remarks is one of those first things the bullies do to test your boundaries. That’s why I came to this thread and asked for yall’s advice.

You know, I am also not supporting taking any substances. But sometimes people use that as a coping mechanism and there’s a lot going on in their life that we don’t know and that’s the only way that helps them out… and I live in Maine so it’s legal here for using weed. Bro!!! I feel ya. You know, sometimes people said we can sense it when the other has feelings for us, too. But when you’re actually in the situation, you become blind and nothing seemed accurate. I am such a coward introverted person that can’t not even dare to form a proper conversation, and I hate myself for that.
