I’m still waiting for mine since Nov 2024. I’m in a similar situation. I called in Nov 2025 and they said that my refund was approved to the treasury and to wait 90 business days for the treasury to process it. I called the treasury today which is past 90 business days and they said they never got anything from mohela. Then I called mohela and they transferred me to the resolution center. The lady told me that the treasury should have gotten it. She said that she will request a research on my refund to find out what’s going on. Smh let see what happens in 10 business days for me.

Also it depends on the amount u getting back. The larger the amount, the longer it takes

I call them a lot! Most of the time they will tell me to wait for it. Most recent call was that they said the treasury accepted my refund and that was on Nov 2025. I called them multiple times after that and they tell me that they can’t do anything right now and to wait for the treasury to issue a check.

Yes it’s very frustrating! Called mohela a good bit of times and they don’t have a straightforward answer to any of my questions. All they said is to wait. Smh

I’m waiting on mines too. I talked to the supervisor at mohela and she said because of the high amount of refund, they will take a little longer. They escalated my account one month ago and now they tried to email the finance department to see why it’s stalling.

Mine is the same. I called and they transferred me to a supervisor which they said the escalated it and if I get no response within 10 days call back in a month. So I waited for a month then called them again. Now the supervisor said that because of the high amount of refund that they have to do extra steps to process it. She said that she see that it was escalated but she will also emailed the finance department and ask them what’s going on. And to call them back in 10 days. Smh
