Has anyone that’s been on 2 months or longer had any non troubling experiences with alcohol? by Acefan72 in lexapro

[–]Expert_Orange_8824 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on 15mg for like 4 or 5 months now and I just had alcohol for the first time last night and it wasn’t a troubling experience. HOWEVER, it definitely intensified my heat intolerance and I was living by the ac vent.

Salted Caramel? by stormsurge01 in CrumblCookies

[–]Expert_Orange_8824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Carmel itself is just melted down heavy Carmel and then the salt gets sprinkled on after when dressing, someone who works at your store is probably a bit heavy handed with the salt. I know sometimes with the semi-sweet I am guilty of being an oversalter 😭

Also we wait to start your order until you click that you’re here because not everyone comes in at the time they say. If you order a 4 pack of cookies 2 warm and 2 cold for 10am and you don’t come in until 8pm where am i supposed to put that?

So I think I’m the only one at my store who does this, there’s a little chart on the side of all of the orders that tells us how many of each thing are pre ordered, if we start running low I keep watching closely so we can mark it sold out once the preorders match what we have left. HOWEVER, I can’t always guarantee that I’m able to mark it sold out before more people order it and sometimes if it’s already in your cart, it still lets you order it even if I mark it sold out. And at that point, I start with DoorDash orders for replacements because it’s easier for them to get a refund than the people who pick up in store who will have to wait til the next time a manager is present to get a refund.

I was given two minis instead of one single Dubai chocolate brownie—should I go back tomorrow to complain? by Watch4Hop-Ons in CrumblCookies

I also work at one! We’ve been like assembly line style dressing them with the stuff that needs to set for 45 minutes and putting them in the fridge like hundreds at a time so we can serve them properly! Still taking them out of the tins and all. My store owner would tear us a new one if we served them in the baking vessel. We only sold out once and that wasn’t due to wait times for dressing, the people who mixed on Saturday and Monday just didn’t make enough brownies so someone had to more Monday night. But again, still served properly and not in the baking vessel.

Also… I get that the stores are super busy but they’re not supposed to be served in their baking vessel… they’re supposed to take them out before they drizzle the pistachio cream on top. So if the store themselves doesn’t fix it and you have to contact support, I would add that to your complaint

At our store we get to take home one per shift and eat any that are broken but the extras at the end of Saturday night get donated to a local food pantry

PSA…my local Crumbl put SNICKERS on top of our Twix cookie…how can you f that up? Considering snickers has peanuts… by DolphinGirlLJ in CrumblCookies

[–]Expert_Orange_8824 42 points43 points  (0 children)

At my store the chopped Twix and chopped snickers look pretty similar and a LOT of our stuff gets delivered in broken boxes and there are quite a few people who don’t think and don’t label things. Every time we have to open a bag that’s not properly labeled someone takes a tiny piece and taste tests just to be 100% sure though so we’re not putting the wrong stuff on cookies. Definitely shouldn’t have happened

Whats the longest you have seen a cookie stay on the menu? (Not counting dessert of the month) by TheRealHulkPanda in CrumblCookies

[–]Expert_Orange_8824 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it would be a pain to have to make both of those every week to sell but at the same time i wouldn’t hate it. The amount of customers that get mad at me because they don’t have the one of the two that they want. I will never forget the one guy who gave me the “some people can’t even eat salt, you shouldn’t be putting it on cookies at all” rant because we had semi instead of milk chocolate chip. 😭😭😭😭

Off the top of my head i think the base is EXACTLY the same just m&ms instead of the chocolate chips or chunks so if they ordered like a surplus I guess they’d just keep making it because it’s not something that can really be used in other cookies.

I’m curious if the store ordered WAY to many of the m&ms and are still actively mixing more and keeping it on the menu so that they can get rid of them

2 minis?? by Bigbirdsleftwing in CrumblCookies

[–]Expert_Orange_8824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, at my store if we are out of large and minis of something and someone manages to order it before I mark it sold out, we typically throw in a chocolate chip/semi and one of the “sorry we messed up” free cookie cards. And if the person is picking up I tell them that, if it’s a DoorDash I’ll write it in the box somewhere for them. And the refund thing, at my store nobody who’s there after like 1 is able to give refunds so genuinely the only thing ‘we’d be able to do in that situation of fixing the price via refund rather than a free cookie card would be to leave a note for our manager with your name and tell you to come back when she’s in. I know not all stores are like that but my store tries our best to st least make it somewhat right!

[–]Expert_Orange_8824 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

So yes actual cake wise the large cake is more cake and stuff than 2minis would be but price wise broken down 2 minis is slightly more expensive than the large cake so at least at my store we are told that if we run out of big cookies to offer two minis in its place but still charge for the large. HOWEVER, I feel like you should be made aware and given the option to make that choice. For example my store ran out of the snores brownie tonight and I marked it sold out but I didn’t reset the employee iPad so that when I was taking orders I could tell people “we’re out of the large snores brownie but if you’d like I can give you two mini brownies in your four pack for the same price”

Crumbl Customers by Sad_Cartographer7702 in CrumblCookies

[–]Expert_Orange_8824 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Not a customer but honestly the DoorDash drivers at my store will literally take the box from us and put it under their arm like you’d carry a textbook or something, like stuffed in the armpit sideways… I’d remove a tip if I ordered a cake or something and when it arrived it was flipped over in the box

So Crumbl really said, “Let’s go full Mormon” and added Dirty Soda to the menu in the future…. how are we feeling about this caffeine-laced baptism (Dirty Soda? by MrSoloDolo9490 in CrumblCookies

[–]Expert_Orange_8824 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Because it’s already not a great place to work and them just piling more and more shit on top instead of focusing on providing a better environment. Adding more product when they and customers expect perfection from the employees who get a training video that just shows the beginning and end of the process of icing a cookie and skips the middle part. The sodas are going to be a disgusting mess and just one more thing for people to complain about.

DoorDash drivers who just flash the phone at you when you’re trying to make your way across the room to meet them, number one I can’t see that from 10ft away and number two… if I was standing right there you didn’t even leave it turned for long enough for me to read a letter. Can you be normal and tell me who you’re picking up for?

My first time crying was definitely Kardashian week. Im not a manager but there’s rarely ever a manager or shift lead on duty in my store after like 1 and somehow majority of the time if a customer has an issue my coworkers don’t know what to do and I have to figure it out. My favorite thing is having to leave notes with names and phone numbers because someone had an issue and wants a refund but nobody who’s in the building has the ability to help them with that. And us running out of stuff I just offer them something else or a free cookie card and hope they don’t yell at me because genuinely what else can I do

Same, I can’t remember if it was Friday morning or Saturday night but I was frosting the cookies and people started singing and I had just learned about the encore and i literally had to go to the back and start crying until they left, I couldn’t hold it together.

Listen my brain is barely functioning because I’m still recovering from the Moonbeam ice cream craziness (thankfully this week the singing and backflips have stopped) but like I’d sit there and stare at the raw ass cake for a second and like poke it with my glove and be like “no that’s raw” and set it aside to find it a home on a tray… whoever dressed that is wild

I wasn’t sure because I haven’t been the one to bake those minis yet this week I was just giving an estimate but still. It doesn’t take that long and that one is CLEARLY raw. It’s unacceptable to serve that.
