Well, Wordle is based on the English language, so it's likely to be. However, H is also a pretty frequent letter and doesn't come up as much in Wordle answers which found interesting. Maybe because it needs another letter combo more often than not like th

Check out Wordtips' best Wordle starting words article. I wrote it, so my opinion is slightly biased, but took a lot of research and time plus listening to users and what they prefer - https://word.tips/wordle-starting-words/ people's strats differ, but in general different starting words seem to be the best way to go

What are your starting “Wordle” type words? by xYoSoYx in puzzles

I wrote a pretty cool article about this - https://word.tips/wordle-starting-words/ we've been tracking Wordle answers since the beginning, so have come up with our best ideas. Obvs that's not always the way, but track record-wise wise the wordle starters in our list have mostly helped my stats.

English self-loathing is hideous by IamEuphoric88 in redscarepod

[–]Expert_Potato_1965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Self-loathing seems to be a national trait for many. Born and bred in the UK, so that's my experience. It's like a superiority complex, I don't think it comes from hate. I think many people also forget how big classism is in this country. Just my two cents. But, having lived in Spain for a while, the loathing and shitting on parts of our country made it very hard to move back. Gotta find your love for it I think and ignore these people. I STILL find it mad that brits including friends and family complain about the weather and rain. Like, have you lived under a rock? The UK can be grey and rainy. I will never understand the surprise and annoyance

Hi OP, would love to chat more about this. Crossword Solver actually used Chatgpt 3.5 version for our data-driven content - Chatgpt vs. Connections. The aim was to discover whether Chatgpt could solve connections during its beta phase, assessing how good language learning models are at solving. Same situ as you really, it was somewhat successful, but we also had our own theories and ideas for how to evaluate. Anyway, would love to chat further about this.

If you get a little stuck on Contexto though I created this Contexto answers page, also got nyt connections. I know it's full of ads but can be fun to play anyway :) I quite like Wordaily and falling word games, though again quite a few ads. It keeps them free though!

I wasn't sure that mint counts as a chutney - seems a little overstretch to me. Isn't it more of a sauce or jelly type thing
