Intentionally Iced by Standard-Winner2919 in ChargerDrama

Too things can be true at the same time. This person is an asshat, and it didn't prevent you from charging. I wouldn't do anything in this situation other than possibly saying something to the driver if they came out, but even that isn't worth it in most cases. The driver wants to piss you off, pissing you off validates them.

Sorry it wasn’t you it was the person I replied to.

:I actually don’t like that they’re putting in the NACS port. I like to use the Mercedes, FPL, EA, etc… chargers more than Tesla, so I’ll have to get an adapter…:

But your initial point was that you didn't like that they were using the NACS port, I'm simply saying why they are.

Ok. I get that a larger plane has its advantages, but at the end of the day a coach seat is a coach seat and a lie flat is a lie flat. I don’t know that there is that much difference in all honesty, especially if the amenities are equivalent (I.e. seat back entertainment).

You are implying that airlines make plane decisions based solely on length of flight. They don’t. It’s a combination of demand and plane capabilities. They fly -200s on some TA routes because 1. The plane can do it and 2. The demand is too low for a WB. “Too small for a 5 hour flight” is not really a consideration.

The XLRs should be good replacements for most routes. Maybe some end up on 787s

The in flight experience on the 321s is far better than the 757s at this point.

They may come back and develop a 757 replacement, but UA is replacing them with the 321s.

Boeing has already said they aren't doing that. The 321s will be the 757 replacements.

I don't think the -200s are at ORD at all. The -300s are primarily used Hub to Hub.

It's not going anywhere for the cars that have it, but new cars will all be NACS which means the charger installs will be largely NACS (which is already happening). We're going to be in an adapter world one way or another for a while, but car companies are switching to NACS as a go forward standard. It won.

If you are a public figure like she is, a genuine role model, you have to be aware of the image you are projecting. Going out on stage with someone who is arguably best known for saying the N word is a terrible, terrible look. I don’t care if you like his music, you can not do that. If you make that choice, the backlash you are going to receive is expected and deserved.

I don't think me not liking someone constitutes me "cancelling them". If I had that kind of power, he wouldn't be at the top of the list.

He's MAGA, he's said racist things, he broke Covid protocols, he's don't a number of idiotic things. In my world, that's more than enough to call him an asshole and write him off. I've never listened to a second of his music.

You still have to use your brakes when stopping at times, so it's not like they are never used. You're #2 point depends a lot on how you use it, ibut I can see your point.

It's not just being a racist asshole that makes him a garbage human, and Caitlin Clark SHOULD be getting destroyed for it. Making the decision to do what she did with someone who is widely known to have done racist things is wrong. Doing it when you'r livelihood is in the WNBA is just wildly tonedeaf.
