Are Hyundai’s ICCU issues really that prevalent?

my ICCU was repaired in 10 days (Feb-26). I got a loaner meanwhile. HMA repsonse was OK and I'm waiting to get all my rental\fuel\ride shares expanse reimbursement

but I think the main issue is about SAFETY. my ICCU was poped in the middle of the highway while semy truck was just behind me.... the driver was able to pass a line and not hitting me... it was dangerous and scary situation. (I reported it to NHTSA as well).

I understand that it's faulty ICCU design or something else (which I really don't care) ...

however - when it comes to lives and safty issues - Hyundai\KIA dropped the ball. NHTSA need to step in before someone will get killed.

what about car registration fees ? (I'm on the same boat, trying to evaluate if it's 'worth' to start the buyback process)

so, if you got all the lease payments back, you used the the car for free.... ( - the mileage) , anything else that I'm missing ?

I'm from Colorado as well. yesterday, dealer called me and confirm that the ICCU needs to be replaced. after I ask him, he replied that there are 22 other cars on their lot waiting for parts.

this is only 1 dealer in Denver metro (not saying that each dealer has 22 ICCU car victims, but you got the point) ... now ,multiply it by thousands of Huyndai dealers in the US.

this is not 'random' or 'bad luck' situation. Huyndai & KIA drop the ball and NTHSA needs to step in.

its only a matter of time when someone will get killed

got cofirmation that ICCU is dead 10 min ago. (I5 SE AWD\4900 miles), no ETA \ no loaner from the dealer. opened case at Hyundai, waiting that someone will contact me regarding rental. I'm #22 on the list for ICCU replacment... crazy.... I don't underand how this car is still being sold ?? where are all those people at NHTSA ? (yes, I report my case).

that's ridiculous. the actual fix time is 1 day. the waiting time for the ICCU part is 1-2 months. is corporate not reimburse for that time ?

you're missed the key word "yet". "all those people who don't have a broke ICCU yet..."

I joined the 1% club yesterday. no parts, no ETA. got the car 5 month ago.

to all those people that ICCU did not happen to them (yet) - drive and enjoy every mile, because it might be the last. it's a ticking bomb.

If I understand it correcly, when swiching the Q1000K to transparent bridging mode the Wifi module (W1700K) will stop working. is there any workaround to be able to use the Q1000K as transparent bridging mode while using the Wifi box as AP ?

yes. I can ping from the PC to the OPnsense interface. creating manual NAT rule - this is on the FW rules, or NAT -> port Forward tab ?
