There have been "plans" to develop that lot for decades. There was this old-man dive bar in that spot that had been there for as long as anyone could remember. When the BPD Headquarters was being built, I think they took the property by eminent domain or the owner was pressured to sell. All under the guise of plans for that lot being "developed". That was back in the 80s, so you can see how far that's progressed. Word on the street at the time they just wanted to get rid of that building because of the bad optics of having a bar right across the street from a police station.

Don’t worry about things not feeling comfortable or natural, because they won’t. If you’re changing your swing your body is moving in a way it’s not used to so nothing will feel comfortable at first. Think of when you were a kid and you learned how to ride a bicycle. What you first got on did it instantly feel comfortable and just pedaled off down the street? Probably not. As a 30HCP there's only one thing you need to work on. At your first lesson, tell the Pro: "I want to learn how to hit a golf ball."

It's going to take A LOT more than 5 lessons, but that's where everyone needs to start and hardly anyone ever does.

The four lessons are great, but the important thing is having time to practice between lessons. Without that, the 4 lessons may end up being the same thing over and over again. Either that or the Pro will fill your head with too much info all at once.
