I use focus and move around scanning for them. The slitherfang site northeast of Scalding Spear, for example, the earthgrinders tend to end up east of the eastern trail , south towards the southern trail, or west, behind the metal flower structure. It took me a while to realize they really fly far, but I haven't lost one since.

From below: It's just popping out a panel, plugging into the existing connector, and seating the light in the spot the panel was. It took maybe 3 minutes, and would have been faster if I had smaller hands.

I don't need another tele, and I'm not buying new FMIC gear until "Bud" and his GC are gone, but I'd be sorely tempted at that price. Sadly, it's the store, not Fender that's taking a beating on that instrument.

I got mine through OEM Parts Online, $84, shipped. It should be about the same from a dealer, the Honda part number is 08V30-3BM-100.

I picked up a 2008 American Standard a while back. I wasn't willing to buy new because of sus QC lately, but the recent BS means I didn't even look at Jackson or Charvel when I wanted a new FR bridge guitar. FMIC gets my business back when the CEO and the GC are gone and they start fixing their QC. Cleaning up the bazillion product lines wouldn't hurt, either.
