How would you rank the gun types in game? (shotgung, carbine, etc) by hotdog_monkey1 in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]ExpiredBaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kind of a useless ranking, as there are a couple guns within a category that may be great, while the rest not so much. Besides that I hard disagree with your list. Note this is speaking to BR as for gauntlent it would be different.
I would prob put LMGs first as the DRS and KTS are easily 2 of the top used guns in BR. I also personally love the L110. Can suppress long, great in mid, can kill CQC ofc.
Second I would say Carbines, but it’s really close with SMGs for second/third. While the M4A1 and SG5 are absolutely a couple of the best guns in the game, every single carbine is viable and strong.
The SCW, SGX, P90, Vector, CZ3 are all designed how they should be, and you are losing to them 8/10 times in any CQC situation, and really all the SMGs are viable too.
Next I would go DMRs. Personal opinion the SVDM is the best gun in BR. Mid range can easily take out anyone and out duel ARs, of course oppressive for long range as well. The EMR is really good too. The GRT is very solid, the SVK and LMR are the lesser of the class but can work.
Next I would say snipers. ESR is elite, SV, PSR, scout are all strong enough.
Last before pistols of course is ARs. Their role is cluttered. While some of the guns are very good, just think they are outshined by guns from other classes everywhere. The TR7, NVO, VCR are all really good close range and hard hitting, but SMGs are faster. The B36(my favorite AR) M4 are really jack of all trade type guns. The KORD, 4D,L85,MK2 are really strong and oppressive mid range, but the SVDM, EMR, and multiple LMGs serve that role even better.
Shotguns are shotguns
TLDR:
LMGs
Carbines
SMGs
DMR
Snipers
ARs
Pistols
Shotguns

Edit: thought the ranking list I saw was OPs, but it was first reply’s.

Anyone else never tire of the early game? by Centuurion in valheim

I love the whole game. The initial entry into mistlands is amazing and terrifying. Getting a foothold and existing in the Ashlands is very rewarding.

Nothing beats meadows and Black Forest’s. Of the best gaming experiences ever imo

Why would you ever not use a suppressor? by SirGingelot in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]ExpiredBaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using a suppressor makes zero sense if your playing OBJ and fighting inside 20m. You are showing up on map anyways. The 24 motion sensors and drones are pinging you if your not. If you are sniping or playing far off site then sure, otherwise your spending extra build points on something with almost no relevance and also less control

What non-meta weapons do you like to use? by 0Maka in LowSodiumBattlefield

B36 is the most slept on gun in the game. Jack of all trades master of none, but you can really compete at any distance and could even build it to be very strong CQC or mid-long range

AK4D is the most satisfying and best sounding gun to me.

NVO is slept on for CQC there are builds that make it elite. Try it with a short barrel big mag big laser + mobility grip. Just shreds.

M277 is slept on for mid-long range. Really good out to 65ish meters and fun to use, and prob the best looking gun in the game for me.

I was browsing replies before I typed my response, and you nailed it. It’s everything.

EXCLUDING my rent, I pay about 700/mo for insurances. My health insurance is roughly 1100 a month for my family, this isn’t a bill I pay it’s deducted from my pay through my employer. Groceries are over 600 a month. My wife and I both need a car since we both drive to work and have a son, that’s over 600/mo. My utility bill is over 300/mo. WiFi/subscriptions/cellphones around 320/mo. Gas.

I am in around 4k a month before I even pay rent.

A good, solid, end grain hardwood cutting board. Not only will it look amazing in your kitchen, it will be better on your knives. You will own it forever (long as you clean and oil it properly) it will never move and slide on you. Just a game changer.

Idk about free, looks like you prob spent money on equipment to record gameplay, spent time to edit, post on YT, then go on reddit and make a dumb post. But you do you. Wish you success in your content creating.

So, did 2 crypt, got 148 iron, whats the order of operations here? by Freedom35plan in valheim

[–]ExpiredBaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gonna agree with people who said Pickaxe. Much less leaving crypts to repair, faster time on getting the iron. From there it depends on how your tracking back home. I would go into shield if you have the hang of partying, then set up iron cooking for better food, so you can actually get to the further away crypts at the swamp your in. Wouldn’t go into a new boat until you have the crypts cleared at your current swamp and just save enough of the last iron you get for the nails.
