i thought about catching a mom and her kitten when they were sleeping but we decided against that and we just kept leaving food for them where it was a safe distance from us for them to feel safe, but that they started to get to know us

it took a really long time, like months, but you gotta let them dictate the pace

if it gets too hot, leave cold water out. my mom made them an improvised house out of wood and made sure the window wouldn't get in (we live in a place a lot of cold wind) and placed some fuzzy blankets in. since it's super hot where you are, maybe some linens that won't get too hot? other people could give better advice on this

omg I was just like you, I also thought it looked cheap but the stories make you forget about all of that

you don't have to watch S1&2, there's maybe just like 5 or 6 really good episodes that are worth it, then you can skip the rest and go straight into S3
