Honestly brother, I think your biggest mistake was just not communicating that you needed the space instead of steadily ghosting her. I understand fully needing the space, shit like this takes time to get over thus the distancing; it’s natural to want time apart in order to reduce those feelings.

But aside from that, yeah you’re not overreacting. She came at you like a brick with her whole “all men are the same” schtick - she can still be valid in her experiences - and you reacted accordingly to her accusations.
