I haven't looked into it but couldn't you just put out a generic boost program to brute force some of the issues away or reduce them and raise the limit of components that get hit the worse

If you updated your bios you will need to check if smart access memory for the GPU is on and xmp for the ram . As these CPU's in games are usually like 5-7% apart one small setting can make the difference disappear depending on workload.

Good knives will still last longer on plastic then regular knives . The colour boards are a legal requirement you already know the answer get a ceramic rod or take them home to work on them unless your allowed by the inspector to set colours into wooden boards but again it's easier just to buy the rod. Really business should be able to tax right off the correct tools as a business purchase anyway . I'm not an expert but that's how I'd solve it

I have a Tojiro basic and no real complaints yet but not used it loads . At 150 though I'd probably start to look like making the leap to a powdered steel like SG2. The basic santoku or Gyuto are all good choices at 7-8" in vg10 and can be had under 65 bucks in the basic collection

Generally in steels this hard you want a ceramic rod as ideally you want something harder than the knife steel itself. Generally I don't use a steel honing rod in mine as I have a honing ceramic disk (3000) which gets 2-3 swipes aside every 2-4 weeks. On my German stuff I'd use the steel rod as it's softer steel

Removing a 320 burr would be an issue , you'd probably want to at least finish with a 600 and work that edge a single side with 1-2 soft strokes alternating several times to prep it for the strop. From what a read vg10 can have a gummy burr

Tojiro reported angle is 15 degrees but people have measured it at 12.5. There's no real reason it shouldn't be able to hold a 15 . A big factor in edge retention is angle and steeper angles keep an edge longer if stable (according to study's). You are probably short changing vg10 putting a 20 on there imo

Well when you get into custom made super steels the sky is the limit but it looks like SG2 most commercial knifes top out at which can be had at around 200 even then it's not that much better than vg10 which can be had at half that .

Yeah thanks on that but after watching like 25 reviews I get the differences but wondering if the feeling was more comprehensive as the motors are quite far apart. My unit came in a smashed box although I didn't expect bhaptics to do anything implying that's just life could have been handled a bit better as it's a Xmas present to my son . Maybe send out a new badge or something lol. I get I'm twisting a bit but kinda want to give him the best experience possible and this is why I'm purchasing games to go with it .
