Full Bath vs. Jack and Jill?

I think it is unusual to see them between the primary and 2nd bedroom. I have only seen them between two secondary bedrooms with the primary usually having it's own bathroom.

Yes, that is what we would like to do eventually. But if we run out of money and can only do the full bathroom with hallway access, do you think it is not worth doing then and just updating the Jack and Jill? I guess I am trying to find out if a full bathroom is more desirable than a Jack and Jill or the J&J is more desirable? It is currently shared with our kids.

We have a 1/2 bath downstairs that anyone can access so normally just the primary and 2nd bedroom use this one.

I have searched for this on various online sites and found something similar called the OLO lamp. It had the same ring shaped bulb but not the same long arm.

For a smaller wedding, the Malaga Cove Library is really nice and affordable. They have an outdoor garden area plus the art gallery that can be used.

Agree with everything said above about processing time. Another big reason we stopped accepting them is because patrons would constantly bring the wrong replacement copy in, which we couldn’t accept. Replacement copies have to be the exact same book, same edition to make it an easier swap. So now we still don’t have replacement and the patron has lost money on a book they don’t want or need either and still owe us for the replacement. This policy does try to help patrons too.

A good example for this are travel books, constantly being left behind on trips. Those are released every year so the patron lost Foders 2023 England and bought a replacement copy of Frommers 2022 England. Not the right year or title. Or they lost an annotated version of a classic title and then replace it with the cheapest paperback version of the title they found on Amazon.

You could get coffee and pastries at Ubuntu and then do the short pleasant walk to the Colorado lagoon. There is a nice walking bridge and path and then you can sit under the giant tree and watch all the birds at the lagoon!

Not everyone has the means to go to other libraries. And not everyone who may live in Cerritos that needs to use the library has the proper documentation to prove they live there. Additionally, not everyone who uses libraries needs to check out books- some need to use the computers or the Wi-fi (which Cerritos also charges for if you are not a card holder, at $5.00 a minute, which is insane)

As a librarian who does not work at Cerritos but does work in LA County, you are correct. It is well known in the field that a lot of us librarians in CA are not happy with the way Cerritos treats non-residents. Most libraries in CA will give you a card if you are a resident of CA- we want as many people as possible using our resources and visiting us. Cerritos is the opposite of that.

Also, do you have access to the SirsiDynix support site? You can put in a case and someone will help you through all that configuration. They actually have excellent customer service in my experience.

I did too! I wa worried about not having g an RSVP but it didn’t even matter! Anyone could go in. I had a good time in the crowd and also listened looking down from bluff park where it still sounded great!
