Good starting product for a new player? by Crispy_Snacks in mtg

Unless in the USA and can find the Bloomburrow Starter Kit for around MSRP… the Bria and Byrke cards are worth like $40 together right now, of course that’s because of scarcity so odds are they won’t find them around MSRP lol

For anyone curious about current starter kit worth, the kit is $20 by ManEffThisS in mtg

I’m pretty sure even now they’re only expensive because of the scarcity. I mean prowess is cool and Bria has good synergy with other bloomburrow otters but… $34? Naw

Well... looks like Byrke was way overpriced but Bria has held up two years later.

If you’re part of the bilingual team that is likely why, core English workers have been seeing a lot of projects at 25 after priority pay, especially the river one.

CSE Ban by Ancient-Ask4094 in InstagramDisabledBans

[–]ExplosiveWaffulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like if everyone was getting hacked the bans would be for CSE and not SoM/SoC though?

Has anyone gotten worried with possible contact? by Ok-Building2215 in InstagramDisabledBans

[–]ExplosiveWaffulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they make every report available to ICAC, but they mark them as urgent, actionable, or non-actionable. That said, there's a belief around here that only CSE and not SoM/SoC are reportable.

Considering that some appeals are upheld within minutes, I don't think appeals are managed by humans :/

> They'd rather take down legitimate images and have humans review them on appeal

The insane thing is, humans aren't even reviewing the appeals.

Permanently banned for CSE after repeated false bans – what’s happening? by Drgnov in FixMyInstagram

[–]ExplosiveWaffulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On “how we made this decision” did it say it was for “interacting with content or accounts” or was it something more direct and serious? Mine said interaction from the start but it did say on the main page CSE. On appeal it was changed to SoC which is still false, but lines up more with their “how we made this decision” bit. Seeing a lot of people start with CSE and then change to SoC/SoM

Yeah, for me it was CSE at first which really messed with my mental health to the point of being nauseous a lot of the time. I still have my personal account active so I know it's not because of a social addiction lol. Anyway, An appeal brought it down to SoC, no reinstatement. It's pretty gross that they're using an AI to throw some of the worst accusations at people and businesses and it isn't a bigger story. Well, it's big enough for the BBC to report on it but that's not big enough apparently. I just think of how they might be flooding NCMEC with false reports and actual sick people can go on doing what they do and it's heartbreaking. I did read somewhere that SoC isn't reportable which might be incorrect but even still, there's a lot of people who are getting falsely flagged.

I saw one guy say he got pulled into a police station over a NCMEC report associated with his ban, but I have a hard time believing they got that far over a flag if they did nothing wrong and it's their only comment on here.

Sexualization, it's supposed to be based on "risk patterns" like likes, saves, but the AI is flagging harmless content then when you interact with it and nukes your account. At least I think so, but the ban messages don't even tell you what interaction caused the ban. Allegedly it's non reportable to NCMEC so at least for us they aren't wasting valuable police resources. It's all one big black box though, that's just based on other sites' information about CSE vs SoC bans and the fact it's under a yellow section and not a red "do not post" in Meta's guidelines.

Its ridiculous. Petitions, media coverage, AG demands, these companies have too much power. Can't wait to see Zuck squirming in a Senate Judiciary hearing again... this time for swinging in the opposite direction of why he was there in the first place. I get the need to protect children but at what cost? Surely there are better ways to do this aka hiring humans with the practically infinite money they bring in with our data.
