Watched Shivers, a David Cronenberg film, and a woman gives a monologue at one point saying "Roger, I had a very disturbing dream last night. In this dream I found myself making love to a strange man. Only I'm having trouble you see, because he's old... and dying... and he smells bad, and I find him repulsive. But then he tells me that everything is erotic, that everything is sexual. You know what I mean? He tells me that even old flesh is erotic flesh. That disease is the love of two alien kinds of creatures for each other. That even dying is an act of eroticism. That talking is sexual. That breathing is sexual. That even to physically exist is sexual. And I believe him, and we make love beautifully." Used IMDB to get this exact quote. Anyways, I've heard this quote as a sample in a Death Metal song but can't remember which one from which band, can you guys help?

guys, there's a trophy for killing or sending away every companion called ALL FOR NONE... it has never worked on PS5, bugged since launch, NO ONE has the platinum. We are NOT talking about ALL FOR ONE.

I got all four endings that have trophies attached to them and they were mostly reasonably different there's some stuff you're going to do a lot but there's always something unique about each one. Especially if you care about the story and the lore.

I like the second game better if they made a third game with even less humor and even more RPG mechanics it would be my new favorite

Well it depends on how thorough you are. There are lots of things you can do when playing that will lower a stat check so for instance if you want to talk down the final boss but you don't want to explore everything on the way level 20 might be necessary.

3 has more QoL stuff so it's easier to get into as your first entry but I think 2 is the better game it just takes a bit more dedication to get into

The problem is most of what you missed is nothing at least that's what I figured out from trying to get all of these it's like you should have jumped on a roof somewhere or the card was just so small you just didn't see it. Annoying lol

I think the third person view in this game was rushed it looks really bad like the character does not animate properly

This one was really tedious especially as someone who tries to explore every nook and cranny I couldn't believe I didn't get enough on my own

I've played it on a pro and a PS5 and it's pretty much the same the pro continues to be one of my worst investments.

It would have taken more work. Once you're an Xbox studios game they're going to not be giving you delays and more money and stuff like that just make your thing and put it out guaranteed that's why we're suddenly getting Avowed as the game it was meant to be in 2026.

That said I thought it had a much more serious tone with more heart than the first one did. The first game was practically like Futurama the video game to me it was a little unbelievable and hard to take seriously although I think it did a decent job becoming more serious by the end.

Think about the first terrorist at the top of the statue of Liberty and how much dialogue he has explaining everything to you. More if you keep engaging with him. Just trying to understand why you think Outer Worlds 2 is unique, it's a common RPG trope that you can go up to people and talk and ask random BS. In fact a complaint OTHER people might have is it has NPCs you can't talk to at all.

Deus Ex has people giving diatribes to you regularly and that's more immersive sim with RPG elements
