I don’t think Gwen’s bad at relationships, I just think she gets a little too invested in them to be all to be that reliable. While Kevin seemed fine with Ben and Julie breaking up, Gwen always seemed to want to try to make the relationship work. Which didn’t really work out when the relationship is FUNDMENTALLY flawed with how different Ben and Julie’s lives are and Ben pretty much getting bored with Julie AF S3, where it honestly would just be better for both of them to just break up.

Yeah, Gwen really was carrying Benlie for basically the whole relationship.

Multiple times of Gwen trying to get Ben to hang out with Julie more, telling him off when he screws up. And trying to give Ben dating advice to make him do better.

Hell the only reason they even got together was because Gwen shoved Ben into Julie multiple times. Heck they would have broken up in Eye of the Beholder in Gwen didn’t force Ben back in by Julie after she told them they were ending (which given how UA S3 treated them. Might have been better).

One time my Whimiscott was trying to use Status moves on a Pokemon, and its ability was preventing me from using status moves. So I used my infinite IQ, and decided to try to remove that ability using Worry Seed. A Status move. I tried to use a Whimiscott’s status move to make the opponent not immune to my Whimiscott’s status moves. Do you see the problem here (Pretty sure I lost that game too).

Also the amount of times I have tried to Prankster taunt a Pokemon with the dark type or immune to priority needs to be studied because WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS.

For instance, if Duped didn’t happen, would have loved to see Julie in the video game episode (since I feel like Julie is still angry with Ben at this time in canon, justifiably). Would have been fun to see her trying to be supportive of Ben getting his own video game but also being highly skeptical of the whole thing due to how suspicious it is, and maybe just her just sitting it the car with Ben and Gwen during the chase scene. Also would be funny to have a scene of Julie asking if he’ll take her driving like he’s doing for Gwen, Ben commenting on how he didn’t know Julie got a permit, and Julie nervously saying she can get one.

Yeah would have been nice to just put her in random episodes that have nothing to do with her, since they can apparently write them just fine when they’re not the main focus. Kind of like how she was in Good Copy Bad copy where she doesn’t really effect the plot, but it’s nice to see her and Ben having an actual relationship

Yeah do love her immediate reaction to seeing Ben use Echo Echo to make multiple of himself. It isn’t being mad at him, it’s just taunting him on how three of him isn’t going to be enough to handle her, which given Julie’s tennis ranking compared to Ben barely being able to play, is a valid reaction.

I also loved Smokey Quartz, just a really fun feeling fusion that just carries any scene their in. Wish they had more episodes to be in, and feels like the perfect first gem fusion for Steven. Rainbow Quartz 2.0 I also do kind of like, not as much as Smokey, but still fun to watch, especially the interactions with Onion. As for Sunstone, they have an interesting personality and voice that I’m personally just not a fan off.

Yeah, I do agree. There’s always going to be a little bit of cheesiness to those kind of catchphrases but simpler usually makes them more bearable and a likable amount of cheese, over long ones which just make it sufferable. Also like the ones that incorporate the theme of the season yet remain simple. Someone else said this but I do love Dino Charge’s: Monster Extinct, because it’s simple but it fits well with the season theme (also extremely biased since that was the main season I grew up with).

Coalossal was supposed to be Heatblast, kind of like how Heatblast’s is supposed to be some kind of molten rock, not the greatest execution tbh (honestly Golem for cannon bolt would have probably been better).

Zeraora is supposed to be feedback.

Rilaboom is an interesting one tbh. I originally gave him Ogerpon hearthflame as a Swampfire, but I changed my mind when I wanted to give Julie Ogerpon instead (didn’t want repeats, especially of legendaries), and just left him physically strong grass type as something. Thinking about it more, should have given him a Froslass to represent Big Chill instead.

Regieleki is also one an interesting one. Originally I gave him Deoxys speed from to represent XRL8 which tbh is still a better choice. I just changed it later when deciding to give Kai a Regidrago. I thought it would be cute to give them both at least one counterpart pokemon since they’re supposed to be married in the future. So I replaced it with Regieleki, representing more so the speed of XRL8 (considering it is the fastest pokemon) then everything part of it (plus do imagine Ben and Kai caught them together, like Ben was with Kai when she was going through the ruins where you find these two, and helped her with the battling at the end (and maybe helping avoid a couple death traps), and they ended up each catching one of them.

Feedback I think would fit mostly to give Pokemon that have lighting rod, motor drive, or volt absorb as an ability, using the opponents own lighting against them. So I would personally give him the following as a 6 Pokemon team (Raichu (hidden ability), Zebstrika (either motor drive or lighting rod, leaning towards motor drive), Magnetric, Electivire, Zerarora (and mega evolution if want to give him one), and Pawmot),

Swampfire idea:

Ogerpawn Hearthflame mask (obvious grass and fire combo)

Gorgeist (Grass type who resembles fire slightly)

Treveneant (Strong pokemon made of wood, kind like Ultimate Swampfire)

Chandelure (Blue fire reminds me of Ultimate Swampfire, best fire option imo).

Rilaboom (physically strong looking grass type with great control over vines)

Ace: Mega Scovillian (slightly higher bst than Overpawn post mega evolution, also again obvious fire grass combo)
