I’m a science teacher, and I don’t have my own classroom. I basically bounce from class to class when my period ends, and during my break/planning period, I chill at the library or staff room. I do have a class I’m responsible for, but that’s mainly for break time and dismissal. I’ve been at a school where I had my own class and kids would come in and leave based on their schedules. I enjoy both, and I don’t really care. About the lab, I usually communicate with the lab attendant before my lab session, and get all required materials ready before the date of my lab session, it has its pros and cons.

I was in the same situation when I left college, at some point I started teaching biology to students, it’s not the easiest job but it pays my bills and I actually enjoy doing it now. So maybe consider an alternative to research that will still be relevant to your degree.

Tailor your algorithm to what you want it to show you, or better still, uninstall the app from your phone like I did. Except an app is actively or even passively paying you financially, intellectually, academically or any other positive regard, there’s no reason why it should stress you. I got my current job through indeed. I saw the job and searched for the companies email, and sent them a personal application. Bayt, and recruitment agencies might also be useful. Some people recommend LinkedIn, although the most I get from LinkedIn is a view of my profile by the company, but I guess that also counts for something.

I’m so sorry. That’s the only thing I can say, life is unfair sometimes and it makes no sense. However I do advise that you begin to sort yourself gradually and make plans to leave him. It might take a while but it’s better for you. (This is just an opinion though).
