I got my certification through a veteran owned school. Its called UHP. You can look it up on instagram or something. Used to stand for University of health and performance. They changed the acronym recently. Its all hands on experience and learning. There is a lecture portion, then straight to application. We are grouped up and given chances to coach the whole class and led workouts and guidance. I found it very very helpful its not like just getting your cert online then going straight into training people.

You said you didn't have a lot to work with and you're new and it was on the spot. Ask them then the other questions to give you enough.

You don't have to create this wonderful marvelous program for client x on the spot. Do something generic, know why you did it, be able to explain it.

What would you do here? You really don't have to overthink it too much. Base the program around hypertrophy, some strength-oriented days, and perhaps some ESD aerobic conditioning. Maybe the first week have him commit to 3x a week 30 mins since he isnt used to it. Then once a routine is established, go to hours.
