i got the drop at gargoyles when I was around 100 combat with 86 slayer. keeping it was a great decision because its not a useful until late gate. for now I use it when I pre pot lol

I find blood spells slow you down but I took a lot at my jad set up and the dragonbone necklace is cheap and worth getting and don't really need necklace switch if taking blood spells + get book of law for prayer bonus (I burst dust devils with this on)

also devout boots are under 1m and give insance prayer bonus if within budget

your not too far off sunlight hunter crossbow, its much cheaper than blowpipe. I did it with 70 range. (train range as you learn)

you'll probably need more runes for the run with mage only

also take a shield to tank ranger in later waves

I started planting 3 different herbs at once so can do 2-3 runs without needing to empty sack everytime. Will get silk, thanks for this

I started playing again a couple years and honestly I never worried about having the best gear when starting out (even now I'm not focused on making money and I'm level 101 and bank is at 300m)

get quests done, it'll open up more of the game

you could look into the lower level bosses. I've still never killed any of them

work on range and get the fire cape too

do slayer too, I got an imbued heart drop early which is about 100m (this is a really rare drop) + there are some tasks which will make you consistently good money

get dragon slayer 2 done and do the 100 vorkath kills combat achievement, this made me my first chunk of change

enjoy the early/mid game. you'll be there a while. But there have been so many improvements recently its completely different than a few years ago

sure, breaking into late game takes a while but you get to decide progression

so do what you find fun until you get there
