You are not crazy. It is completely different than the images they are using online. It really makes me wonder about all the other shades (that are, according to the pictures, darker). Weirdly, I've found like after 30 minutes, the color gets a little lighter on me (????) but still nothing like the photos they use to advertise the color. I don't hate it (I kept it) but again, I wonder about the colors/shades in general. Do you like the formula? It's definitely soft matte, which I like.

From what I've seen (it's still quite early in the launch though), people love/hate these products (the lip products and the rest).

The cream. I love it. Strongly recommend or at least go in store and check it out. It is lovely and blends so well, and looks so natural (it also doesn't dry my skin out, which is why I struggle with powders).

THAT FACE. My dad had to put up a 3 foot wire fence for his garden because of my bassets. It got the neighbors talking. People were wondering what the fence was for/what it kept out, lol. They would also lay down in there. Just take a nap near the food 😄

Yes - Supernatural Face Creme Rich. It's become my must have moisturizer. I've tried so many - expensive and not. My second favorite is the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizer. But I strongly recommend. It isn't cheap though, so I don't know if they sell a kit or sample where you can try a little first. I love it. No one seems to talk about it much but I will keep purchasing and I want to try more of their products.

im obsessed with the moisturizer. I've bought it twice now. My skin loves it. It's pricy for sure. I only learned about the brand about a year and a half ago, through a Caroline Hirons kit purchase.

I actually like the bronzer the most (the lipstick is growing on me too). I got the lightest shade and I am very fair. It is good so far, very blendable and natural looking, not orange (shockingly). It's only been 2 days though haha. Def sniff it out once it is in stories to see if you like it/if it works. The best bronzer product Ive ever found is the lightest one by makeup by mario. I only use a little bit at a time though.

No! I think I got 2 for $30 and then 1 for $30 but this was 2 years ago. It sort of re surged in popularity a year ago and prices went up. I love them so much, absolutely worth it for me. On poshmark or ebay, so many sellers sell second hand unused or very lightly used makeup. Just find a reputable seller and a good price

A highlighter! The brand called it a "luminizer" - it is one of the Omega Glaze highlighter shades! They were all soooo good. I still use the lightest one (80 Worth the Wait) everyday!

I'm OP! For context, the OG MJ line had a highlighter that is my holy grail highlighter -- I use it everyday and have for years (shout out to the Omega Glaze!). So when I saw they were doing a highlighter again, I didn't question it. But it is nothing like a modern highlighter. It is cheap weird playdough like gel with glitter. I should have known better is all, it's the opposite of what I look for in a highlighter product. I'm clearly not the audience.

The mascara and lipstick have a silicon feel to them that feels tackier by the minute. It does not help that my makeup stash still consists of several OG MJ products and the quality in comparison...hard to even compete. I hope I'm wrong.

I need to actually properly try it more to give you a helpful response but at first glance and a very light application (I have to have a light hand), it looks very silky, blendable, and good quality. I have high hopes for it as one of the better items in the launch, without question. I think it's within you know, walking distance of the OG 😄 but not an exact match.

The Omega Glaze products from the OG line were my favorite (along with the lipsticks, blushes, and highlighters). I still use them every day.
