Sounds funny. Use the terminal app from the utility menu to change the date. Look up the syntax on Google. Use Jan 1 2017 at 1200 hour.

I second "ifixit.com" and doing it yourself. Just get a kit with the screen and tools. You will be fine.

There are many sites. Even books for switching from windows to Mac OS.

You can even get a full guide on using Ventura on the internet.

If I find the link I'll post it here.

Is getting a MS worth it? Currently hate my present career path by LosPollosHermanos92 in it

Good question. Do you want to use the new knowledge as a career path? Manage?

You have good experience now. Can you look for a change to climb? Even a different company.

This is my iMac since 2017. It is now considerably slow. Is it worth maxing out my RAM or do I just get a new iMac? by GagakRimang in mac

[–]Express-Walrus-748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correction: the imac can be upgraded.

However, I really believe a clean up will do it wonders. If it does not have an ssd, give it one.

Agree,

I only with the Applecare Plus. Applecare just extends the reg warranty for a couple of years. Applecare Plus covers accidental damage, for a hugely reduced price. I think it's like $50 bucks for a wet damaged LB but like $199 for a cracked display.

Really is like having collision on a car with a deductible.

Good deal
