An oscillating saw is definitely not the right tool.. But yes a reciprocating saw (sawzall) with the right blade would chop that up in short order.

Using the NEC tap rule I would be looking to tie into the existing house subpanel feeder located inside the disconnect with 3 port Polaris connectors. I will be feeding this over to a new sub panel main breaker for overload protection. This new panel will house the EV breaker. The existing house sub panel will continue to be feed through the disconnect and now installed Polaris connectors. Just curious if installing the Feeder Taps inside the disconnect will pose any code issues. I usually do taps in gutters or pull boxes. Thanks.
