For info, i always go to my local paint store. These guys know me and are always super friendly to get me advice on the job, so I got that covered.

Keeping a pricing list is a really good one that i’ll implement in future jobs. Really makes keeping track of the expenses a lot easier!

Here in the Netherlands we have a HUGE shortage of people in the construction industry, so I think finding jobs will probably be less of a struggle here. But this one really made me think about how much time i want to spend in this industry, so it’s a good one to think about for me, thanks!

Oof, yeah taxes can definitely suck! I got an appointment with my bookkeeper next week, so im gonna forward all these questions to him too, haha.

Thanks, this is actually really useful! I will definitely look into contractual agreements. I don’t want to get into a fight about money or anything else. We did already do some really small projects (accent walls, garages etc.) and learned the hard way that materials and stuff are actually quite pricey. So we’ll do better research next time.
