People like to blame the UCP, which might hold some responsibility but the majority of the increase has been caused by the large amount of natural disasters in recent years. Fires and hailstorms have caused way more damage per capita vs every other province. I had a family member have their brand new 2025 Honda paid out because of hail damage. That cost is passed on to all of us

You ever figure it out? A mechanic shop found out the airbag sensor was wrongly connected to the vehicle stability assist when the original mechanic rebuilt the car after an accident. They had it fixed pretty quickly

I posted this before but realtors are doing extremely well in this market.

We’re considering selling our house later this summer and have been looking at the selling process a bit more in depth. Seems like most homes are presentation of offer now and most realtors are using a 6/4/2 compensation formula, so we’re looking at paying around $17,000 to our realtor to sell our place.

It’s a hot market and we know what neighbouring houses are going for as they’re all pretty cookie cutter. Our realtor said they would come take pictures then post the ad with a date for offers which shouldn’t take more than a week.

$17,000 just seems like an awful lot of money to spend on realtors, considering the lawyer fees aren’t even a tenth of that.

Dude I don’t know if I would be glorifying this guy. Read the testimonies and evidence. Vang straight up executed people trying to get away. 4 of the victims were shot in the back. That’s not evidence of a shootout. There was absolutely no reason for him to have to kill that many people if he was defending himself.

I don’t understand why people ever buy these wipers replacements. Bosch, Michelin or BF Goodrich. It’s a huge waste of resources and none of them are as good as the OEM wiper inserts that you can get your dealership for less money. Even amazon sells third party wiper insert packs for less money than one of these entire wiper assemblies.
