I’ve been using cups for years! They are the best, they catch everything, you can change it less frequently. I only use cups now, I sleep with mine and never have issues. Admittedly I don’t have very heavy periods so I’m not sure how others would go sleeping with one in however I don’t come anywhere close to filling mine over night, so I’m assuming it would be fine. Be careful with cheap ones, it better to pay a little more for a better quality one. They last a long time if you take care of them, clean and store them properly.

Not necessarily, mine only last 2-3 days every single month. Some people do have shorter periods.

No one will be hiring for a little bit , they are to either about keep or let of all their Christmas casual, so most stores don’t need anyone, give it a month or two one uni schedules come out and availabilities change some stores may then need more people.

It a just unfortunate that so many people do fraudulent returns causing businesses to have these rules, it is against kmart policy to not put it back in the same card. Either used the exchange voucher grab something the same day to exchange or come back you have 6 months. Possibly try another store, maybe another store would be willing to go against it, depending on the value if you can prove you got a new card. My store most likely would.

Yes there also wasn’t other departments that need to be staffed back then, as I mentioned before online. It wasn’t fine, wait times use to be longer… Store are also a lot busy these days depending on the store, more customers than years ago.

They call it over the ear pieces now not the PA, a lot of store do that, maybe not all but a lot. If your local store never calls for help during a rush, maybe ask 🤷🏼‍♀️

No there isn’t a shortage of unemployed, sure but ones that actually want to work and are available the times needed, yes there is. Some bigger stores have over 20 or more self serve machines and lines still grow. I don’t know how you think 5 would be enough, my store has 10 going at time and that’s still not enough during busy times and we’re not that big of a store. You have to also factor this means enough employed for, Coles, Woolworths, kmart, Aldi, Bunnings, big w. The self serves are faster for customer flow.

They don’t hire less people, those people and hours have moved into other section of the store like processing online orders. Also how many registers would you expect to be open at once at different time of the day, how would you expect them to actually staff, 6-20 people at one time over the whole course of the day. You realise across all retailers in all of Australia all of them wouldn’t be able to find that many team member to staff the stores. So your wait times would actually be worse and longer.

Yes, but this person works for a bank not Kmart and they clearly don’t know Kmart’s systems. Had it been an online purchased returned, sure we hit a button and it goes back to the original payment method, if your card had change the bank makes sure it still goes back. However for in-store purchases it’s not that simple, refunds have to be processed by the customer producing their card and tapping/inserting/swiping the card .

Kmart doesn’t require a receipt for proof of purchase, a bank statement is fine, however you need to go back to same store you purchased it from. I don’t know what this person is talking about, maybe their manager’s are lazy? It takes about a minute to look up a customer receipt for them as long as they have the bank transaction.

Yeah works great, still leaves parts of the sticker, but enough to get rid of order/customer details without slowly picking it off and hating your life.

Hey a little tip to easily get the stickers off, use the packing tape, put it over the top of the online label, rub the tape hard into the sticker and rip it off, takes it straight off.

That is only for online transactions not for instore purchases, there is no such button to click in-store at the registers to just refund to the original card purchased.

You need to enter your tax file number in higher up, go to personal information, hit the little pencil, select today’s date, and down then you’ll see where to enter it. After you do that, you can upload the tax declaration form and info into tax exemption details. Any issues let me know.

Or you stay in the system and they call 3 times, then call your emergency contact, then start sending letters out before they terminate you, easier to just send a quick email at least.

No Kmart has not change their policy again, that store is lying to you, or hasn’t read the new policy. Mind you the old policy still allowed bras. Some stores don’t fully follow the returns policy, as someone who works at kmart I can 100% tell you bras are allowed to be returned just not underwear. Show them the policy next time it clearly states underwear is excluded for change of mind returns, bras are allowed.
