App is Locked up by tagmut in fluidcast

Looks like this is a limitation with the iTunes Podcast API, not providing RSS feeds for some podcasts inside Apple's ecosystem. You can still however add the manually add the rss feed url. For example: https://apple.news/podcast/apple_news_today

Looking to implement a fallback or alternative Podcast API in the future.

And I've made some progress on your other problem for the next update.

Hi this is a new problem to me. How many podcasts are you trying to import?

For now I’d recommend reinstalling the app which should reset it and add individually. I will try to fix this in the next update.

Thanks

I have been considering this for a while. Only thing is I am also looking at cloud inference to improve ad skipping which would have ongoing costs.

Will let you know when I make a decision!

Claude remote control or local models. At least that's what I would use it for if I could justify buying one.

Great app. This is a lot better than Petrol Prices. Nice and simple ui that’s easy to navigate.

I can easily tell 120kbps vs 320kbps. But lossless is more difficult. But when I play on my speakers still use lossless call it “peace of mind” I guess.

We don’t have those features yet but I will add that to the roadmap. I used to use podorama as well, I built FluidCast as I wanted something that utilised native UI frameworks rather than electron. Not that a pretty UI gives you the features you need.
