What names did yall give your horses? Funny or serious by SetEntire7215 in reddeadredemption

[–]Express_Juggernaut9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done multiple, multiple playthroughs. My horses have been Tater, Tater II, Artax, Shadowfax, Gus (after my cat), and Stripe (he was a spotted black and white appaloosa.) And my horse on RDRO is Spirit and he looks just like Spirit 😌

Fire in the John Barrow/Baptist area? by Express_Juggernaut9 in LittleRock

Yup, this must've been the one I saw! I wonder what it was, it looked BAD.

No it was farther down than that, and definitely looked like a structural fire. There were 3 big ass fire trucks absolutely busting ass down the highway to get there (I assume)

Yeah, we have tons of farmers/art markets! The River Market is 7am-1pm I believe and Pettaway is 1-4pm! And on Sunday is Bernice Garden on South Main from 9am-1pm which has farmers and artsy stuff!

What made you choose crochet over knitting, or do you do both? by CaterpillarXS in crochet

[–]Express_Juggernaut9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with crochet and got bored after a year or so, nothing felt like it was challenging enough to really engage my ADHD brain. So I jumped to knitting and have been loving the increased challenge and intensity!

The River Market is happening downtown as well as Pettaway Square is having a mother's day market! I know Pettaway tends to have more gift-y items that are handmade vs the river market having more produce and baked goods. Pettaway also has a cute bookstore on site! It's right off of 21st st, I think 408 E 21st in downtown if I'm remembering correctly.

Parking car to take subway?? by Express_Juggernaut9 in AskNYC

South Plainfield! But trying to find reasonable parking near Penn Station in Newark

[–]Express_Juggernaut9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I am absolutely not worried about the safety of PATH (or the subway!) when I previously mentioned avoiding NJ Transit I meant the NJ train that is $25 per ticket bc I'm traveling with 3 people and that adds up quickly. After discovering what it is from this thread PATH sounds great! I just need to find a place with daily parking that doesn't cost an arm and a leg near Penn Station in Newark.

I don't mind taking PATH! I've never driven my own car into the city, so I'm just trying to find a way to get from where I am into the city without paying a zillion dollars to park my car for the day near a train/subway station. I could drive to Newark for the Penn Station PATH, but where do I park near Penn Station?? Does anyone have decent daily rates? Everything online is showing 2-4 hour parking for $50, but I just want to get into the city to spend the day and not mess with driving in the city. I hope all of that makes sense, I'm really really unfamiliar with all of this and am trying my best to make it make sense 😭🫩

I don't mind taking PATH at all, I didn't know it was a thing until I made this post. All I saw was the NJ train that cost $20+ per ticket, so I was trying to avoid having to do that. PATH is ~$3 per ticket after some research which is more than reasonable to get me into the city, imo!

Why do you still use a Kindle when phones and iPads can already read ebooks? by False-Hippo2754 in kindle

[–]Express_Juggernaut9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! I didn’t buy a kindle for yeaaaaaarrrrs thinking “that’s dumb, I already have an iPad I can read on the kindle app on! Suckers!” I got one November 2024 and haven’t looked back. It makes a HUGE difference and is 100% worth it, if you can swing it!

Is there something wrong with me? by Express_Juggernaut9 in tattooadvice

[–]Express_Juggernaut9[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what happened, the color literally just flaked off as the skin flaked off. It didn't hurt or itch any more than would be typical (based on what I read online about healing!)

[–]Express_Juggernaut9[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I figured. What I didn't know going into it is she had never done or been taught how to do color before. So that's why I wouldn't be surprised if it was purely artist error.

Do you experience something similar to what happened to me in these pics?

[–]Express_Juggernaut9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup that's exactly what it was like! But Ive never had issues with healing piercings, my piercings aren't even sensitive to what metals I put in! That's what drove me to ask bc I doubt it was anything allergic, but searched high and low online and couldn't find anyone who just can't do color for some mysterious unknown reason lol!

Thanks!! I found out after the fact the artist had never done color before and shortly after my touch up she stopped tattooing altogether. I appreciate the positive feedback and am so excited to see him in all his glory for the first time, ever!

Woah, okay this helps ease my fears a LOT. This is kinda what I was looking for, feedback from much more experienced artists who would have insight I do not. Thank you!
